I moderately resent the fact that you're trying to guilt me into giving a shit. I voted Piper for days, I only unvoted because there's no way a wagon's going through anymore.
The ONLY people even talking about Piper are me and you, everyone else is pretending we're not even talking about it.
When presented with a choice of lying to town for no fucking reason and not lying for no reason, town are going to not lie pretty much every time. Unless they're terrible at this game, which everyone knows Piper isn't. It was nice of you to argue with me over this to keep it alive, but newsflash... Nobody cares.
Unvote
Vote: Piper
It turns out you can actually guilt me into trying.- Mirhawk

Have you noticed that there's dichotomy between the heads, since hiplops saying they don't like this approach EP's still going full steam ahead on it.In post 4910, Mirhawk wrote:Hiplop's recent posts have been town as fuck- True Ogre

Yes I did notice they're completely not coordinated but I don't know why EP would have so little care unless he was trying to 'play natural'.
Ploti called him out as an opponent to best scum really really early on.
Are you saying that Seniors wouldn't play like this if they were scum?True Ogre WINS!- Mirhawk

whoops bad grammar.
I don't view it as indeterminate town. A person with a town mindset doesn't lie for no reason because they know it makes it harder for town to separate out town lies from scum lies. Especially an experienced town player.
The only thing town has for granted in this game is the confidence that they can separate out the scum from town because only one group has a reason to be dishonest. That's why town shouldn't lie unless there's some clear advantage in doing so, there wasn't one here except possibly furthering some ridiculous meta wizard bullshit.- Mirhawk

Egh. You're probably wrong on this on Plotinus and you're definitely wrong on Nacho.
Both I think will try to obfuscate any town-knowledge they have. It was the crumbing/soft-claiming in the first place, plus the (butthurt although i've been told not to say that in previous games) followed by the "reveal" which is worrying.
Question still stands. Why do they do that as scum?
I mean are they protecting scum-tictac?
Are they trying to stay alive?
Are they trying to force their own claim?

Are you talking about hydra-chat or neighbourhood-chat?In post 4939, Mirhawk wrote:I mean what would this plan have sounded like in their hydra chat.
First lets scumhunt in the most opportunistic scummy survivalist way possible. Then we'll admit to doing that, but keep doing it at the same time.
Hydra-chat from what I know is technically unrestricted (although whenever I've hydra'd is has been strictly within a PT/QT)
Neighbourhood chat would definitely be controlled by the mod - ie a thread would be created for the 'hood.True Ogre WINS!- Mirhawk

I don't have any experience with Plotinus, but I agree that getting information out of Nacho is like pulling teeth.
It may have been the first one, but that's a risky move as scum, as it ties them pretty closely together. If Tictac ever died, they would pretty much get immediately nailed.
The second one's pretty unlikely, I don't think they were under a great deal of pressure when they revealed it. Someone was making a fuss about it (Dwlee?) but most of the town was ignoring it.
The third one's interesting but unlikely, if that had been their plan then they probably would have followed through with it instead of clamming up about the other information they had.
If I had to guess a reason it would involve either towncred for not revealing a bunch of sensitive information, or trying to assume a town leadership role by hinting that they have more information then the other members of the town. The second one incidentally is along the lines of what I think the wise wizard thing is about (I don't have any desire to look it up to find out though), though I think that it's probably a better scum move then a town one.- Mirhawk

Not the butthurt which is funny and only offensive to someone who is wound up way to tight, but rather the other two parts.- True Ogre
