I'm pretty sure it doesn't really do anything.

We appear to have many tracker/watcher type dealies, I'm betting your role is more of a fruit vendor-esque type of thing in that it can be confirmed by the watchers or trackers.

I haven't seen any indication that there is some kind of use for the flava you can confirm.

Also I'm still curious is anybody found any crumbs by Dave, I find myself wishing I knew if he had any useful results but am unable to find anything.
