If I flip town, I'm right about FS because I pushed it so hard. If FS flipped town, there's no way that I could be town because there's no way a townie could be so wrong. Right?

Sure, that's what I'm saying. You are supposedly good enough at this game that I expect you to be right when you're so sure of yourself. So yeah, I'm expecting this not to be town v town for that. Maybe that's misguided of me, but I'm also terrified enough of your hypothetical to FS (where scum you just eliminates the people who would lynch them) that I want to solve this.


I need to head to sleep, and expect to be up before deadline. In case I'm unable to make it back, I'm unwilling to accept a no lynch, and FS lynch is more likely, so I'll park my vote there while I sleep. I'm always willing to accept that I'm wrong, so hey, maybe TPP is cool after all and I'm actually on the right wagon now. FS, if you get lynched while I'm away, at least it's over. When FS wagon hit 7, you were still at 5. Your wagon died because I took you out of the conversation; the argument that your wagon was dead is an inaccurate one.

After the first couple unvotes my wagon was effectively dead. Reigniting it would have required backtracking from the people who had just reconsidered, and that was unlikely.

I think momentum is important for wagons in my opinion, particularly fast ones. Unvotes are far more toxic the failing to attract more votes.

You also never really removed me from conversation, in fact as I remember events you were talking about me more at the end of the day then pretty much anyone else. I distinctly remember being annoyed that I had to respond to a whole whack of questions from you just before I went to bed.

Most of my town reads are refusing to vote (Marquis, TPP, you). I'm townreading Cakez and dramonic at this point, and they're on opposite wagons.

Cakes still irks me. I mean has anyone paid much attention to him over the last couple days? He's coasting so hard I think some of the laws of physics are being broken. I don't think I've seen pretty much anything of substance from him since mid day three, and even at the deadline yesterday he was bizarrely uncaring about the fact that his top scumread all game was about to be lynched.

Why do you think that we are testing the waters to see where we should go as opposed to just posting some interactions?

Because you aren't really pushing your scumreads, and aren't really using the information you're posting to analyze them in particular.

You appear to be waiting for something instead. You might be waiting for plot to finish everyone granted, but that will take pretty much the rest of the day for him to finish that so that wouldn't be a very effective strategy.

He's been coasting recently. This is not a strong indicator of him being scum.

Saying someone is coasting is easy because it's based on activity (in your case) and nothing more. He has not been coasting in this game as a whole.

My problem isn't the number of his posts, but rather the quality of them.

There's a lot of nothing posts and not many on topic ones. I get a zero percent looking for scum vibe.

Haven't tried to lynch me yet, in spite of being an easier target than ever before due to my lack of engagement. Quick apparent acceptance of my slot as town. That could be chalked up to you only ever seeing me play as town, so you feel you have a good grasp on what to expect from my posts tonally/I'm matching those expectations,but given the fact that there ARE clear differences between my play here and my play in other games with you, in terms of productivity and engagement at least, I would expect a much higher degree of suspicion on your part.

Why do you think that he's scum?

It's never been a strong read, but basically I feel that his certainty that I was scum when he got on my wagon was way too high. It felt fabricated.

He went from thinking a couple of my posts were maybe a little scummy to certainty that I was 100% scum in a relatively short time and I didn't buy it. I still don't.

His previous two scumreads (Axel and Podo I think) both talked him down from scumreading them, so instead of talking to me like he did with his other scumreads he just started loudly proclaiming that I was scum. I think he was worried about having to back down from his only remaining scumread so he changed tactics.

For the record, I can actually see this as a thing a town player might do under the circumstances that Pip was in, but that doesn't really make me any less suspicious of it.

Someone said (I think it was you) that he had another scumread in this period. I don't really remember it, though I was intending to go back and check on it at some point.
