Attacking X for unfairly attacking Y is just another way of defending Y. That is why it is known as the chainsaw defense.

Although your chainsaw in is NAI on it's own, I'm still a bit concerned about the quantity of defenses.

If Grace goes "hey Mizzy is obvtown" and lists a bunch of reasons wouldn't that completely defeat the purpose of it?
Does scumAccountant have anything to lose at this point?
scum!Accountant has quite a lot to lose. The wagon on me was dead in the water after Grace backed off; like you said, nobody was applying a lot of pressure. It makes no sense to characterize this as a desperate move.
Wait, so first you say there's a lot to lose, then you say the wagon is dead, so what is there to lose then?

Figure of speech. To have nothing to lose means simply "I'm screwed because of the wagon, might as well do something reckless". If the wagon is dead, then I'm still "in the game" and can't make desperate or suicidal moves.

I don't think desperate is synonymous with "nothing to lose". Performing an action with a possible upside and no risk of a downside is still a valuable action in a non-desperate situation.

The action in question: me asking for Grace's thoughts on Mizzy.
Claimed upside: I get validation on my scumread.
Possible downside: Grace strongly townreads Mizzy and the opposite happens

It's almost like the upsides and downsides are the same and I really just wants to know how Grace reads Mizzy!

Well, RC and Pants seem to be vampires who hate the sun and refuse to go out doing the day.

Grace has vanished as well, albeit less severely, but her content has dropped severely ever since early game. Mizzy is V/LA, I think.

Titus has nothing to do with this game. RC's signature says he's a alt of Titus (another member on this forum). Some people read into that meta, but it's a lie so there's no meta to read into.

NAI is "not alignment indicative".

Thanks Simoyd! Alrighty, don't expect to much of my analysing skills tho. Also, I'm sorry if I use the wrong pronoun for someone, I'm pretty confused about them.

Mizzytastic: It justifies what it's saying most of the time, I'm not sure what to think. Could it be lying and it's gone missing on pourpose? Maybe it's in ninja mode, just in case it says something wrong trying to defend itself from Accountant's accusations.

Simoyd: I like some of his reasoning, but now he's just going for Accountant partly based on how they defended IV, which I'll talk about later, and I don't see this as scum, but it's a bit meh.

Meepo: I see him as town, and in , as someone else already said (sorry, I can't remember who an I'm in a hurry), is looking for the interests of the town. Yet it might aswell be seen as a try to be seen as a town. But I'm gonna go for the first option here.

Grace: She's pretty cool, heh.

Lycanfire: He doesn't seem scum to me, he does elaborate his posts and parts from well based arguments. (It makes me mad that you keep talking about how people behave in other games cause I haven't read any and I'm too busy, and lazy, to do it).

RadiantCowbells: I'm a bit upset, he voted for Accountant yet he hasn't given any elaborated reason, or reason at all, but keeps insisting and encouraging everyone to vote for them. While I don't see this as scum, I don't think it's helping the town either, and that's not nice.

Pants98: Still waiting for him to explain his vote, it's been more than a few hours, and if he's doing it on pourpose it's a really dirty move and it makes me think of him as scum. Still, he said he's not really into the game/not giving a fuck about it at the moment, so maybe he just forgot. Probably.

innocentvillager: I think his posts make sense, and I don't really think of him as scum.

Accountant: It's true that at the begining I saw them as mafia after all of the focus on me, probably cause I was stressed because all of the accusations, but now that it looks like everyone's focusing on them, I feel likethe reasons given a bit weak, aren't we supposed to defend ourselves? Plus they've been the most active of us all, and I think they've been helping the town. At least that's what it seems to me. About them defending IV, it might make sense, but I don't think an experienced player would make such an obvious scum move as to defend their mafia buddies, it seems to me more like they're trying to get the attention away from IV cause they townread him and feel like we should focus on someone else instead.

Sorry for the short analysis on some of you, I kinda ran out of time halfway through. Anyways, I'm still not gonna vote, I'm going to wait until the last day or until I clearly see someone as scum. Right now I could think as mafia of Pants, RC and maybe, MAYBE, Mizzy, but just because of the "ninja mode" thingy.

Now a joke to lighten up the mood, how do you call a magic dog? Labracadabrador! (There's always time for jokes)

You seem to be very confident on Accountant. You're clearly busy, but even just a few sentences explaining why could potentially be very useful. I have my own reasons for being somewhat suspicious of Accountant, but I'm nowhere near as obvscum-Accountant as you.

@Simoyd: Your read on Meepo? Why?

@Grace: The most obvious scum is who?

@Meepo: Thoughts on IV?

@RC: How do you feel about Pants? :)

@Accountant: Before Mizzy, who would you have preferred to gun for the most?

@Mizzy: Has townreads on Meepo affected your play? Why?

I already have some conclusions after doing deep analysis of the thread, but there are parts missing that I'd like to fill. Not all the questions above are a mystery to me-so don't try to get cute, because I might know the answer.

Pants or RC, maybe. I'm not sure, I don't have a solid scumread and even my read on Meepo is like kinda wobbly

I'm fine with that as long as Accountant goes tomorrow.

I am super busy IRL until the 21st. You're not getting a wallcase from me until then.

I just want to say that in my analysis, RC has interacted with nobody besides Accountant the entire game. The worst of all.

Apparently, keeping a meta is so important that you can't break character in a newbie game and use a throwaway one.

Have a nice week RC. You've said all you need to. Bye.

RC isn't doing that to keep a meta IMO, he's doing it because he genuinely feels I am a scumlord and he thinks town has the best chance of win by lynching me so focusing on other candidates is irrelevant.
