Even though i don't think we will get along since our play style's are a polar opposite i have a slight town-read on Transcend.

@Norska: I'm really interested in what they taught you about evolution at school. We were taught that Homo habilis came from humanlike(?) apes and homo sapiens came from the evolution of homo habilis. I forgot most of the stages between the two.

This is more personality indicative rather than alignment indicative. From this i can say that his scum-play is something like:
1)Trying to forget he is scum
2)Playing like he is town.

But it's not! We can go to Morning Tweet's game and examine her scumplay for ourselves, for instance.

This isn't exactly a startling revelation - in fact, it's one of the most common things people do as scum, to the point of blinding obviousness.

True, but there are countless flavors people add to that. I don't really think a human being can read that deeply based on one post.

Oh. I didn't realize we were allowed to do that.

Well... unless we do that though we still only really have her word.

I think it's strange because it seems like I'm casting a scummy vibe on her, but I'm not. I'm basically just standing by how I think talking about one's self in a past game is as much of a way to
seem
town as it is to be town. I'm null on her.

Why do you think that wanting to seem town is a bad thing? After all, town members don't want to get lynched, since that helps the scum win, so they'd want to seem as town as possible, right?

I don't think wanting to seem town is a bad thing. What I mean is it's just as indicative of a scum player seeming town as a town player being town

And whilist it's important to not get lynched, it's far more of a concern for scum players. For townies the focus should be almost entirely on finding and lynching scum.

Aside from scum-slips it's just as easy for scum to seem town as town to seem town. Town should just be honest and go for the scum rather than focusing on preserving their image, IMO.

60 is unashamedly fluff, and it's from someone who likes to fluff. I didn't get that impression of you; more importantly, I think post 51 looks like you're doing analysis but doesn't mean anything.

That's the play-style i developed after 10-odd games. Before i get scumread for the wrong reasons(Not saying i'm scum), i should note how i play: Motives and reasoning aided with gut. D1 i usually find townreads and vote for non-town reads. Well, that's the gist of it.

How does post 10 lead you to make those conclusions about Morning Tweet's scum play?

People who are friendly and honest, feel some degree of guilt when they have to deceive others. Because of that, they try to ignore their alignment and scumhunt like they mean it.
It's unlikely, but he might also be trying to set up an alter ego for this game by acting differently from his personality.

Why does post 10 lead you to conclude Morning Tweet is honest? Does your conclusions apply to everyone else in the game who has made friendly and honest posts?

Why would Morning Tweet do this?

Then tell me an alternative if you have one, i'm not going to bother answering this filler question. I have a bus to catch, so that leaves you with ~4hours to come up with an answer, and explain what your goal is with pestering me with these questions.

I'm examining your mindset and getting a sense of how you approach the game. This serves two purposes:

1) It helps me understand you as a person, which in turn makes it easy for me to discern your alignment.

2) It allows me to uncover possible discrepancies in your mindset that you might have made as scum. It's far harder to fake a consistent townie mindset than it is to make townie seeming posts. Thought processes... well, they DO lie, but far less.

I'm trying to work out if Acc and Char are two townies, or if one of them is scum.

For some reason my gut is telling me they're not in a scum team together. Seems like way too good of an act for that. Either one of them is scum or they're both townies, IMO.

@ Acc

This is an answer to your question about what to make about you two. Hats off to both of you if I'm wrong about you both not being a scum team! I seriously doubt that that's the case. Seems far too genuine.

That's all right, most of your answers have been nonsensical or unhelpfully obvious anyway.

I'm sorry, you "added some fluff that might turn into something important if connected to something that happens in the future"? Was that really what you were thinking when you made that post originally, or did you just come up with that on the spot? Because if you remove said "fluff", you take away 75% of your post! Are you sure Accountant is wrong here:

So, uhh I'm sure you're not saying useless analysis (the topic we were just on) is your play-style, so I don't know how this is related.

Okay, your playstyle is 'looking for motivations and reasoning' coupled with 'finding townreads and voting for scumreads'. I think town can identify with that. What does this have to do with being scumread for the wrong reasons?
