Narrative = events that happened so far.

For example if you scumread me then you have to explain why I would do what I do from a scum perspective. If you can't then no matter how much you want to lynch me I am not scum. If you think player X and Y are scum but then argue with each other for a lot of pages why? In other words everything for a reason. If no reason a flaw exists somewhere. Go backwards til you find it.

It is called in layman's terms proof by contradiction. Assume the thing you think is false and assume it is true. Then if you get 1=2 then that statement can't be true. Therefore it is false. That is the heart of how I do VCA.
