this might be viewed as tactical because scum win is almost guaranteed but there's no merit in winning a game like this and scum will know that
nobody is enjoying it as far as i am aware and everyone is incredibly demotivated. there is no chance of effective scumhunting. no chance of town working together. heck, scum don't even have a chance to manipulate
it's incredibly boring and if i have to i'll lynch luv but more than anything i think this game should just cease to be

It's not claiming scum. It's saving everyone time.

The game is heading to a constant of apathy due to the constant replacements and no one willing to put effort in. Scum have no incentive to change the current game state so they just wait it out and the cycle repeats. Surrending now gives scum the victory, allows everyone who is town to move on and not force trying to solve a game that just failed to be captaviting and interesting, and allows for the mod to not continue to half ass.
