For those who don't understand, scorched earth works like this.

At the end of the pre-dance phase, anyone without a partner will certainly die. Which means we get to control the size of this game by killing people immediately.

Here are the goals of Scorched Earth

1) To lower the player total below or equal to 12, as it will trigger the intermission, and force scum to kill SUPER early.
2) To pair Hebi with someone super scummy. This way, it increases the likelyhood Hebi LIVES through that kill.
3) To kill a shit ton of people and generate reads through this, instead of making pre-dance kind of useless.

And this would be exactly what id suggest if I was scum going to partner with a scum partner. Eliminate a large part of the town without a voting record, and group up your third scum member with the townclear, and then only have to talk your way through 3 mislynches

And yeah, I'm dancing with my husband (Cabd).

I have better faith in him to sort me than vice versa under normal circumstances, see the last micro we played in when we'd only been dating for two months, but I should have some insight. Plus, fun times. Which is the point.

I'm up for listening to confirmed town.

The other side of this mechanic too is that *all* unpaired players leave the sance after pre-dance, no? So if we decide there's a likely-scum lady, we can lynch two gents and a lady, effectively. So scum hunting among us ladies is relevant.

P-edit: LLD, pairing up doesn't preclude public scum hunting. I suspect Cabd would take even greater delight in getting me lynched if I was scum than using the suicide mechanic, even if it ends the same way for him.
