nancy is catching heat there and but have been publicly pursuing n_m until std comes to attack. i didn't see any reason for nancy to relent. it seemed like the motive was suppressing n_m's fire so she doesn't have to fight two fronts. ultimately, it's not scummy on its own but when nancy denies that she does it implies guilt in an otherwise not-a-big-deal situation and the denial is evidence of deception. notice that her denial of my observation was the basis of her scumread on me, as i have been making shit up apparently.
