Personally, Nard, the fact that we can't find your word isn't what's making me suspicious of you. It's the fact that you tried to rehash the Totem thing, and your reasoning was that his was fairly easy to figure out, but not yours, Jaguar's, or Willow's.
There are several problems with this, you know.
1- Totem's claim came IMMEDIATELY. Not after a bandwagon. Not when pressure was put on him.
2- While there is no way to confirm Totem's claim, he came out with an
However, you totally and completely did a 180 on your opinion of Jaguar. And with little to no justification for either attempted (re)bandwagon. On someone with limited access, no less, who isn't around to defend herself.
For the record, this doesn't mean I believe Jaguar, either. In fact, I don't believe her, but Nard's the more suspicious to me at the time.

. Came out with an anti-town role in a pro-town fashion. There is no way to confirm your role, no way to confirm Jaguar's at the moment, and no way to confirm Jaguar's Leprechan claim on Willow. Because Willow's like, dead, and stuff. However, you totally and completely did a 180 on your opinion of Jaguar. And with little to no justification for either attempted (re)bandwagon. On someone with limited access, no less, who isn't around to defend herself.
FoS: Nard
. That will become a vote without an explaination as to why Jaguar's more suspicious than you and deserves a vote. For the record, this doesn't mean I believe Jaguar, either. In fact, I don't believe her, but Nard's the more suspicious to me at the time.

Yeah, I'm not getting it either, nard.

Tam was indeed correct with her vote count (many thanks ^_^)
Shady (1): Totem
Jaguar (2): shady, jaguar
MeMe (1): Jaguar
Otaku (1): MeMe
Nard (3): Bluesin, yaw, otaku
not voting:Candice, Uraj, tam
As the town continues to discuss what is going on and who found what in their houses, food and drink appears before them to help them recouperate if need be. ^_^

That was my reasoning. And don't think that he's excused because he came out so early. Even though I defended him because of this earlier, I caught myself and realized that this would be the perfect thing to do if he were scum to direct attention to himself, therefore directing suspicion away from himself. (Not to mention being pretty much immune to investigations.) I was just pointing out the differences in the triggers and how claiming so early would be advantageous.Personally, Nard, the fact that we can't find your word isn't what's making me suspicious of you. It's the fact that you tried to rehash the Totem thing, and your reasoning was that his was fairly easy to figure out, but not yours, Jaguar's, or Willow's.
The change of heart towards Jaguar was a result of my suspicions of Totem. I realized that if he came out with a role and came out looking very innocent to the town, than it would be the perfect move for someone who actually is scum. So after a few votes were put on Jaguar, she also comes out with a claim. I don't think it was necessarily needed at that point, and it caused even more suspicion. It backfired. That was the rationale behind my sudden change of votes. However, you totally and completely did a 180 on your opinion of Jaguar. And with little to no justification for either attempted (re)bandwagon. On someone with limited access, no less, who isn't around to defend herself.
I guess I really didn't think that through, to be honest. But hey, there's probably a chance I'll die using the gun. I know thats a chance most of you are willing to take.If you don't know what your gun does, how do you know it's used against scum? Also, how can you guarantee dead scum in the morning? Even a regular vigilante who knows his gun kills can't do that.
Right. That's enough for me. The more you post the more I want to vote for you.
I just don't think any of your reasons actually work.
Hmmm, what we found in our houses, eh?
toothbrush, toothpaste, blowdryer, couch, loveseat, table, chair, refrigerator...Arrrgh! Yaw stole the falafel! *pout*

No, not stole. The falafel's courtesy of Tigris. There's falafel for everyone!
That's 4 of 6 for nard. At any rate, his story's getting more outlandish and looking hypocritical to me (he's saying Jaguar's suspicious for doing something that he just did -- claiming early). Chance you'll die using the gun, huh? Is there information you were given to justify that statement, or are you just making this up as you go?

wow, Tigris is possibly the greatest mod ever. And has probably found the best way to fill up games quickly, free food! mmm...milkshake...it'll probably go straight to my hips but it's worth it.
nard seems to have hit the panic button and is coming apart. He's a vote away from being lynched though. And I don't really know what he means by "I don't know what my gun does" ...I mean guns usually kill the things you aim them at.

Why people always find me suspicous?
That was definitely one of the clenchers for me. It just makes no sense. It's like he's looked at his role differently than one normally would (like a baddy) and he's slipped up and let it show. That's the whole key to catching out baddies is catching them thinking/feeling something that drastically conflicts with what you, as a townie, know. i.e.- I think he just screwed up.Otaku376 wrote: nard seems to have hit the panic button and is coming apart. You know, if we transcribed the stream of consciousness in this game, we might have something to rival
At any rate, my preference would be that we not head into night until we actually get something substantial from Uraj. That said, I'm willing to go to night if everyone else is, and I don't think it's that bad to deal with that issue tomorrow. But there's no way we can just let Uraj lurk through tomorrow like this.

I don't know what the gun does. It's that simple. There are 80 freaking triggers, not all of them can be straight and to the point.
And just so you guys have someone to investigate on when Tigris reveals my innocence: Otaku and Meme did not comment on the post that apparently turned everyone against me. Then BlueSin commented on it, and Otaku was extremely happy to jump on the bandwagon and not think for himself. Meme was a little more reluctant and hesitant, which is even more suspicious to me.
But my point of this post is not to try to change your mind, because God knows thats impossible. Who would ever think that there would be a non-regulatory role in a game with 80 different possible roles?! My point is to inform you of people who look suspicious to me so a town can still come out with a win.
P.S. - MeMe, just lynch me. I know you're waiting in the shadows contemplating it. It won't look
And should I post more? Or have I already cast enough suspicion on me by telling the truth?

Er - if I'm reading this right, you're saying that you think I'm scum trying to find a good way to lynch you that won't look suspicious...which, I'm pretty sure can't be what's actually in your mind because a town who truly thought this would be voting me (or Otaku, since you took a swipe at him in your post too) rather than sticking with his Jaguar vote.nard054 wrote:P.S. - MeMe, just lynch me. I hadn't considered you a likely suspect until I read your questionable claim -- and, for the record, I
did
comment on it as soon as I read it , just four hours after you posted it. I'm not hanging back or reluctant...and I also don't just join a bandwagon when I've got a question about it, especially when it'd push the wagon to within easy lynching territory. Your "hesitant" accusation and "waiting in the shadows" comment is not only inaccurate, but rather dirty play that makes me look upon you with a lack of compassion. Why stoop to flinging untruths? Especially when they're so easily disproven? That said -- I agree that there's no rush and that we need to hear from everyone before ending the day. The fact that nard's trying to court a quick sixth vote looks spectacularly weird to me, as though he's trying to minimize the damage, perhaps by trying to prevent his partner from defending him?

not think for myself? What initially got me to vote for you is the blatent way you just switched to Jaguar when the totem wagon wouldn't nudge. After you said there is no way you'd vote a claimed investigater. And I don't recall the whooping 1 post in between yours and mine (#145) calling you on that.
I apologize if I offended you, but I'm just stating my opinions on these matters. I think the fact that you didn't address the bandwagon on me in your posts until more people had voted is what made me weary of you. (and you DID post while people were accusing and voting me, while others that jumped on later hadn't posted after the accusations were thrown.)Your "hesitant" accusation and "waiting in the shadows" comment is not only inaccurate, but rather dirty play that makes me look upon you with a lack of compassion. You didn't offend me -- just pointing out how unfair your accusation is. If you think that your post was so worthy of note that it's weird that everyone who posted after it didn't voice an opinion on it, well that's either paranoid or narcissistic, isn't it?
And I'll point out that I never
And I'll point out that I never

addressed the bandwagon on you, late or otherwise. What I did do was question your trigger claim, which is what I find suspicious about you.Remember...It's not a lie if you believe it. -- G. Costanza
My trigger went something like this: You found a gun from your childhood....would you like to use it against the mafia? Of course, I said yes. My role then came saying that I could use the gun against mafia, but I would have no idea prior to the shooting of what effect the shooting would have. (What the gun would do.)
I hope that wording of my role makes it more believable, because I really don't know what else I can say.

I claimed with just as many votes on me as you had on you when you claimed. Why is that suspicious? There was plenty of pressure on me when I claimed.Nard wrote:The change of heart towards Jaguar was a result of my suspicions of Totem. Nard, these similarities should give you a hint that I indeed hit a proper trigger. And I posted mine before you posted yours, so you can't tell me I copied your description of the trigger. I don't understand your vote on me at all. You should be one of the people saying, hey, I got a similar trigger. I'd like to vote for you, but because of the similarities in your claim and mine with respect to the trigger and uncertainty of the result of your item (I was told I don't know my sanity and my results could be total rubbish), I won't put that vote on you.nard wrote:You found a gun from your childhood

. I think we definately hit different triggers...and Willows was not actually a leprechaun. I think it was your insanity. But one question: Why didn't you tell us about not knowing your sanity from the beginning. (and if you did..i'm sorry and i really have to read the thread again....)
