I don't want to see a hammer yet, btw.

you shouldnt have to be asked to explain why someone is town when you are defending them from a lynch--- should be second nature if your intentions are geniune--- using the PR reason is a cop-out plain and simple--- I REPEAT, IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO HAMMER A PR CLAIM YOU ARE UNWILLING TO HAMMER SCUM AS SCUM WILL ALWAYS CLAIM PR WHILE BEING LYNCHED IN HOPES OF THE 50% CHANCE HE IS UNCCD OR A CHANCE TO OUT A PR AS HE IS LYNCHEDIn post 1789, Mac wrote:You haven't asked for reasons why I thought gm was town, regardless i still don't think we should be lynching a possible PR.
The more you post, the more i wonder if you are scum. some seriously poor posts coming from you if you are town.
Not so obviously IMO.In post 1802, Ineffective wrote:you shouldnt have to be asked to explain why someone is town when you are defending them from a lynch--- should be second nature if your intentions are geniune--- using the PR reason is a cop-out plain and simple--- I REPEAT, IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO HAMMER A PR CLAIM YOU ARE UNWILLING TO HAMMER SCUM AS SCUM WILL ALWAYS CLAIM PR WHILE BEING LYNCHED IN HOPES OF THE 50% CHANCE HE IS UNCCD OR A CHANCE TO OUT A PR AS HE IS LYNCHEDIn post 1789, Mac wrote:You haven't asked for reasons why I thought gm was town, regardless i still don't think we should be lynching a possible PR.

if i was scum and you were town i wouldnt have unvoted and switched to goodmorningwhen you were obviously going to be hammererrrrddddd
In post 1625, Mac wrote:Don't hammer yet, I haven't read anything other than the last posts. It's not going to be beneficial to hammer me without letting me post my thoughts. It's also the weekend, i haven't been able to post that much over the board lately.
VOTE: GiF
Because that L-1 vote was proper opportunistic. I guess you only see it if you know I'm town but yeah, thinking he's scum now.
Again, would prefer time to post my thoughts because tomorrow will be lylo so hang fire until tuesday at least.
My post was immediately after Mac's.In post 1626, fferyllt wrote:agreed. Someone want to unvote to avoid derpiness?
It was hawked as conventional wisdom in my first newbie game iirc.In post 1808, Ineffective wrote:also if that is truly conventional wisdom im gunna puke--- i could see stalling a questionable lynch due to a pr claim---- i cannot sympathize with stalling a lynch on a total scumbucket because of a pr claim
well there was all that buddying accusation stuff. In post 1807, Ineffective wrote:In fact goodmorning is the only person who hasnt had mac in his scummy pile.
A Town should want to be as certain as possible. They should want all possible evidence. In post 1764, Ineffective wrote:can you really blame me for not trying to appeal to the person i think is scum? I never understood why a towny would do that
Not so. I myself have done VT claims as Scum. (Newbie 1305, for instance.)In post 1771, Ineffective wrote:Pedit: i already explained the sense in it.. SCUM WILL CLAIM PR ON THE WAY OUT ALWAYS in this situation
Actually I did yesterDay. I have since rescinded that willingness though, so you're half right. In post 1772, Ineffective wrote:as a matter of fact mac everyone has expressed willingness to vote you aside GM
Well, Z kinda did.In post 1774, Mac wrote:this is me being fucking practical, no one has expressed intent to vote gm after she claimed.
Where in the hell is this math coming from?In post 1780, Ineffective wrote:alsoi might do well to note that there are a garunteed 2 scum members and there are 1 or two prs - therefore math-like logic makes his pr claim less likely to be truthfull,,, more than 50% he isnt pr
This happens to be a greater chance than the amount of luck it takes for him to claim a PRthat isnt in the setup which is 50%
I don't really think it does make up for the sample size, but it's been a while since I took Stat. Regardless of that, this game has been moving pretty quickly at times. It's a bit difficult to crumb when you're trying to get thoughts out to keep up with everyone. In post 1795, Ineffective wrote:So not only did he not use the word keep more than he usually does - he used it more often in the other thread by about twice as much... Which makes up for the margin of error in a smaller games sample size by far
BULL FUCKING SHITIn post 1803, Ineffective wrote:In summary anyone that thinks there is a chance i could be scum when i started my own wagon ON THE IC of all people while you were at a near confirmed lynch and there were votes on other people i could wagon and come up with a reason for justifying.... YOU ARE DELUDED
It surprised me because it's only ever been used to describe my play (particularly my emphasis on experienced meta) when I've seen it used before. But, I am positive we've never played mafia together elsewhere. In post 1817, Ineffective wrote:I hope to encourage as much rarities as is possible with my noobish status in the hierchy of mafiascum!
One can only read so many posts at a time. I fail to see your point, seeing as my point is that this game is abnormal in every sense of the word.In post 1823, Ineffective wrote:Goodmorning did you entirely ignore the better sample size from a game you were town in?
as far as 50% for pr claim to be unccd as scum--- each pr is in half of the available combinations... I already explained the other half of that math in the post you quoted, and as an ICyou should have been aware of the part that i didnt fully explain on your own
