Conventional wisdom is that MS town usually unvotes when a player makes an uncountered PR claim, and waits to see what happens overnight.

Why should we not follow conventional wisdom and look for the other scum today?

It was hawked as conventional wisdom in my first newbie game iirc.

a guy I used to play mafia with said that lynching PRs is like crack to scum.

OTOH I recently held a bandwagon together when a scum player fake-claimed in the 11th hour so I'm not exactly a purist.

also optimal play depends on setup structure and circumstance... Here we have an easy setup to claim PR in.

Everything that has happened since i made up my mind on GM has done nothing but confirm he is scum to me tho

i went on a limb asking for the frequency to be researrched as i was fully aware he could have actually crumbed intentionally as scum but my gut said he just made it up during the wagon and it seems number have proven me right...

Im at the point where im 98% sure and the other 2% can only be accounted for by the shame i will experience if i am wrong... But with that horrible crumb attempt im not even sure i will be shamed if he actually is JK bc i used a fully logical line of aproach

I don't really think it does make up for the sample size, but it's been a while since I took Stat. Regardless of that, this game has been moving pretty quickly at times. It's a bit difficult to crumb when you're trying to get thoughts out to keep up with everyone.

It surprised me because it's only ever been used to describe my play (particularly my emphasis on experienced meta) when I've seen it used before. But, I am positive we've never played mafia together elsewhere.

One can only read so many posts at a time. I fail to see your point, seeing as my point is that this game is abnormal in every sense of the word.

That is not the math I am talking about. I am referring to the "more than 50%", I couldn't quite catch what you were talking about.
