I think LLD played excellently. Vig/bomb mechanics where someone can act on their pet scumread without having to gain a majority vote will always result in random swingy games, kinda independent of skill.

I think I underestimated how challenging the mechanics were going to be for most players who have never traded stocks before. I think it probably would've been more fun without the stock trading and more focused on the marketplace mechanics though I don't think a lot of people understood the auction system either as many people did not bid at all.

I was surprised by how "popular" the suicide bomber role ended up being, it seemed as if people could not wait to get out of this game hehe :3.

Thanks to everyone for playing and especially the replacements who subbed in and helped us get to a conclusion! A special thanks to my co-mod Sirius who made the lifesaving suggestion of using a google sheet with stocks embedded into the spreadsheet as it would've taken me much more time to do it all manually(it took an incredible amount of time to do even with the automatic stock price lookups lol)

3x Mafia Novice Day Exploders

Set-up is Nightless. On Day 1 ONLY, nobody can explode and an elimination must happen (so plurality elimination will be used). If a mafia-aligned player is eliminated, town wins immediately. If a town-aligned player is eliminated, the game progresses to day 2.

On Day 2 and all subsequent days, there is no elimination, just explosions. Town now win when all Mafia are dead and Mafia win at majority.

Deadline is day one 2 weeks, then (n-1) IRL days, where n is the number of living players. If, from day 2 onwards, a deadline passes without anyone exploding, mafia wins.
