I didn't intend to take it that far and if I'd been active during the midpart of this day, I wouldn't have, but, alas, I'm pulling the real life card here and muffin was in charge. ANd he thought it best to carry. The timestamps of the hydra qt showed that, by the time of Muffin's giant post on page 64, he was as pissed off at f-16 as I was and he was just ready to pull every card.

The tldr of our hydra qt is that

muffin is super depressed because, well, muffin has one of the best reads on mastin on the site--and I would say I have a good history as well.
He thinks AP is scum because of the wall wars with mastin, but since no one trusts his mastin read--despite being abjectly true--no one is giving him any time of day.
The badguys are shouting us down and the town is ignoring us.
He specifically hate two bad guys in particular(F-16, DespBRO). So much in fact that he is willing to play to make them lose if town.

I was looking specifically at who was saying what about the miller v miller argument. There were some people who were against lynching either (Mastin and AP, for example, but I think there were others) and while I'm considering that there's probably one scum there either going for town cred or hoping to possibly push a lynch on one of us at a later point while buddying today (before realising our claim was fake), I think that's a more townish stance to take on the whole thing.

Where I was looking for scum was the people who were going after one of us but not _really_ calling the other town, and PV fit the description here perfectly (I'm aware he has you as a town read, but unlike DespBro he never made it clear that he thinks you're definitely town regardless of my flip). I am aware he has since called you "obviously town" and such but most of that came after the claim retraction. Up to the point he voted me, there's none of that.

Our role is basically a modified gladiator

The modifications are as such

At night we can target someone, at day start we'll be told their age and we'll be gladiating them.

If we battle a beast, it's a normal gladiate; no modifications.
If we battle an adult, and win the duel, we can choose whether or not we want to govern the person we gladiate (and the day ends in a no lynch)
If we battle a child, the duel ends with either our lynch or the child hitting L-2 (the game returns to normal if the child hits L-2)

I was planning on keeping the adult part of our role hidden and battling an adult if we ever hit even numbers - ideally, we'd be demanding nobody else hammer until we're ready for it and looking for a time when we're online with the person we gladiated so we can get post-hammer reactions to decide whether or not to govern them - but I don't really care about making this happen anymore and it's a lot more effort than it's worth probably

Anyway, point here is that orcinus's role is almost the inverse of ours, and I'm conflicted about whether Cabd has included both our roles as town roles. Our role doesn't necessarily conflict with orcinus's so this isn't exactly a counter-claim, I just don't really know what to think about his role. Nati says Cabd trolling, but claim anyway

One of the main fucking things I hate about mafia is trying to make sense of the nonsensical. When people do stuff that makes sense, fun games can be had by all, regardless of who wins or loses. When people do stuff like what Kthx did, it sucks the fucking enjoyment out of the fucking game. The amount of people I've gone off at in mafia games is probably like 5% - I generally get along well with most people. At the least, I've had no issues with most players I've played with. But every now and then, someone just ruins the fucking enjoyment for me and I react in turn.

This game? I see DespBro calling me scum because I'm buddying Mastin. Look at any fucking game I've played with Mastin, ever. I figure out Mastin's alignment within a few posts every time. You know this, you've seen it, in the same games BRO was in. AoT? Took me a small number of posts to figure out Mastin was scum and I stuck to that vote for the entire three days it took to lynch him. Too Many Heads? I had him figured out within the first couple posts after he replaced in and stuck with that read for the rest of the game. In games you haven't been in, it's the same deal. The most recent Xeno game? I had Mastin figured out from his opening posts and "buddied" him the rest of the game because of it. Mastin is someone I have an amazingly easy time reading, I do not think I'm shooting in the dark with this, and I do think he is town here.

You would have to ask Nati about that (I really do not know, he never explained his read on you with anything other than tone)

He knows he interprets things way differently than I do, and our reads this game haven't been in sync at all here (which is kinda unusual for us, and since he hasn't had much time for mafia lately, we haven't had a chance to actually talk about reads in any depth). The best explanation I can give is that he reads you off of emotions and passion and he wasn't seeing the typical town-Tammy he was used to seeing. I think a lot of this came from the back-and-forths between you and F16 in the first 50 pages that killed his motivation to play this game.

(Side note: I may have suspected Plum early in AoT but I was never a part of the wagon when it took off and I never supported the lynch so I dunno why you were frustrated with me having a part in that one unless you just mean I suspected Plum really early in D1 and people sheeped that suspicion? *shrug*)
