If Cliff did get Fruit, he is a Mafia Goon (but he will know he is no TPR so would NOT have fallen for my gambit, because he DID receive fruit so will know I was lying). So Cliff DID NOT receive fruit from me.

So, why does he lie about it? Because I said it would go through if he was a TPR, and since he did NOT get fruit he couldn't have known I was lying, so he fell into the trap and falsely claimed fruit. Notice how long it took him to respond with the nature of the gift. He was thinking and consulting with his teammates on whether it was a "message" or a "gift".

Basically after reading the black and white mafia game I wanted to try my hand at lying about things like Rick did (he was scum but still)

I was way over confident in my read on jjd and thought he was softing messenger (which I think he was but he also claimed like 10 roles throughout)

So I thought fuck it I'll say I got fruit. Then he asked if it was chocolate but I wanted to double down because I still thought he was a messenger trying to get me to change stances to lynch me.

Basically I was gonna make up some bs message at first but I realized that was stupid and figured there wouldnt be another FV in the game so I just went with fruit. And that was both really stupid and unlucky.

I thought it was like a last hoorah for scum!jjd and he was backed into a corner trying to pull something out of his ass to get one more mislynch. I got cocky as I tend to, figured he used his experience/pr to deduce that I was a FV after our D1 exchange and was just trying to flip the tables on me. Really awkward situation and I didn't really have a solid plan. I don't expect anyone to believe any of this to be my thought process but when I flip green you'll see I'm just a cocky moron.

I know getting beat by scum pulling weird shit like I have been always feels bad and you end up kicking yourself when the game ends. This isn't one of those situations. I made a lot of dumb mistakes but the hesitance to lynch me here doesn't happen if I'm scum. Scum would be bussing the shit out of me right now and I would have already been lynched. If I'm lying about scum!me's role and am actually something strong that scum wants to keep around, then why do I play in such an attention gathering and explosive way all game?

If I die and a NK occurs we are likely at lylo/mylo. There's at least one deepwolf and town can't agree for anything. If profii isn't scum then I highly doubt scum have a 3rd tracker to know who I am visiting tonight, therefore I can probably clear another town even if one gets shot.

All in all I think I should at least stick around another day
