Difference in headspace. I don't play alts just for another alias. I play alts to adjust my personality to see how it affects the outer world.

I did not find anything that Penguin said in the hood to be scummy tbh. Nothing particularly townie either (except a one off line that did align with how I know Penguin views my play)

LLD, have you looked at the hood to see what originally started the scum reads on the Medea/Malcolm slot?

Annoyingly I cant see if House is town or not from that pressure, but I like malcoms responses honestly.

As she said it, it felt like she was taking it to build a read on me with, and also she has said similar things about how she views my play in a prior game, so it kinda messed with how I expect her to expect town Luke to act.

I've seen it but I didn't really think much of it. It was pre-game and I figured that PA was either checked out or genuinely confused, both of which are possible as both alignments.

Like, I'm assuming Steven is saying PA did a TMI? or said something that was obvious phrased as a question to try and pretend she didn't know something?

but the PA I know, if they're making a play, would think things through and be accurate?

PA did say she was asking it to get a read on how people responded to it, so i doubt it was thoughtless, but i suspect that it being a confusion or "checked out but trying to stay involved" moment is likely.

I mean, I'm doing that right the fuck now. I'm hyper checked out from this game but trying desperately to do some content and get some reads to remain... available for when my spoons return?

This is some outguessing nonsense but follow me here.

Scum PROBABLY have some kind of QT spy ability. That just makes sense to me. I think that town from the start of the game needs to be able to know who is where for the most part.

Having a player in all hoods, centering the web, it makes sense as a town role that gets shot decently early, but more like it makes not a lot of sense as a scum role to begin with.

Like I don't see Ircher making "starts in all the PTs" a scum thing, especially with the other pregame job mechanic

I pretty much agree with all of what LLD wrote there, i don't think it's reasonable to put a scum role in every thread as a talker but I do think it would be reasonable if they could merely listen

It's not really TMI; the starting hoods aren't a scum ability, it's a part of our roles. We should all be neighbors.
