My choices are either sit by and do nothing, or make a comment on how your read sounds fabricated given the current situation. If you are town, the fact that I am slightly scum-reading you/suspicious of your slot/paranoid, should factor into your read, which you seem to be playing off that it doesn't and instead want to spin it as a dumb/scummy/OMGUSy question. If you want me to go into more of why your reasoning about me being scum is silly, I would be more than happy to.

Fine. But only because you asked nicely. Now, remember how this game kinda slowed pace? Remember way back to when Seanald made his first post?
In post 230, Seanald wrote:9 pages already, guys go fuck your selves seriously. ill see you day 2 thanks.
In post 667, Seanald wrote:Not relevant with the pace of this game, you know that mhork. And maybe I shoulda been like the others and simply not posted anything. I'm in it to win it, but I ain't fucking reading the whole thread when it's generating 3 pages an hour. Like I said at that point go fuck selves.
So I'll opt to continue interjecting my self awkwardly into the game racking up some votes along the way, blah blah.
Now is there any kind of strategy we are trying to follow here like we did in marketplace 2?
Fine. Day 1 ran at a pretty quick pace. But, when things slowed down, Seanald didn't pick things up. Which only leads me to believe that the first few posts were indeed not genuine and merely an excuse to turn suspicious eyes elsewhere.
I already covered his post to gain town-cred.
Why are there not more votes here?

If my read is wrong I absolutely want to be convinced of that.

Talk to me about Seanald.

Cabd and I have talked about Seanald a few times. I have one completed game with him. He was scum, and we (Rift Adrift) had him down as scum almost from the outset of the game. To me there are three aspects of his game, and if I get a scum vibe from all three aspects I am happy to lynch.
- timing
- frequency
- content
The timing, especially the day 1 timing, has been scummy
The frequency has been meh. He's never prolific. As scum he does ramp it up under pressure if he can (i.e., if real life allows I guess) from what I've seen
The content itself has seemed at least nominally town. More town than DP, by comparison. Less town than Banakai seemed, even with his few posts.
At this point I wouldn't cry if he's lynched, but I'm focused on players with enough content to feel like my read has legs.

So the fact that he complained about a fast pace game as to why he was going to lurk out, and yet hasn't contributed even as the game slowed to nearly a halt isn't alignment indicative for you?

:/
Is a slow-to-nearly-a-halt game less apathy-inducing than one moving at an insane pace?
You've been talking
about
him, not engaging him, at least not like you've occasionally engaged us.
I can see where you're coming from with the suspicion, though.

Can't engage someone who won't engage. Already requested reads. Been denied. Moved to the next best option.

Peregrine - I'm basically going with Shaheed's law. if he's scum, town has already lost, so I'm assuming he's town and the efforts we're putting into the game aren't wasted on a foregone conclusion.
Here's a thought. If he is scum lynch him. Crisis averted. Shaheed is a moron.
Senald, I have been calling you scum since before the DP lynch and you haven't said anything about it. Could you toss some reads out please?
Sad cause you must have missed my critique of your post...

Ah...I was ctl-f-ing for "Seanald".

To be honest guys, I think I'm on borrowed time here. I fully expect to be mislynched/shoot before lylo [though I shouldn't since I'm town] but my money + voice + vote is useful and IMM it makes no sense whatever to get rid of those things but w/e.
The fact that there's been no counter wagon to my lynch tells me and it should tell you that scum are either content with my wagon and/or already on it.
I'm going to get to all this bullshit later tonight so yeah if you guys want to be dumb today at least lemme get reads up so you can know who to kill after I'm dead.

eh you can engage me, questions about things in the games, rather than general things like reads get me more responsive.
I was working on a full reads list honestly, then I realized I didn't really have a clue what my reads where and deleted it.
I had a crap ton of town reads and few scum ones, and a lot of null ones and by null I mean I want to say town, but i have paranoia that they arn't.
my big six town reads have remained the same, with still an inkling of paranoid about lost butterfly but I like his play too much to commit full on to a scum read.
honestly prohawk you were in the null pile, I never played with you and I've read so little of the game I can't remember anything you said lol.
Molla is town to me, and so Is Nero. Played enough with Nero to know he gets in situations like this all the time, and he is sounding much like his town self.
Lord Mhork is kinda scummy to me, mostly out of omgus, he also posted a brush off post on the deadline activation page.
So did Baldeagle. So I'm scum reading them off of that, cuz im positive scum posted on that page.
voided fits in that pile as well, for sounding like he is trying to hard, and for posting on deadline activation page.
^ my 3 scum reads. Don't think they are all right, but 1 definitely resides in that list.

Also, I've been tossing it around my head for a bit now and I realized I have no idea how to use it, but I have coroner and want to use it somehow. I suppose we can use that to help confirm mhork?

Had little enough time to read the damn thread and had better things to do re: catching up as it was. You'll also noticed we didn't vote yesterday also, and I'm pretty damn on the move about placing a vote. Why didn't I answer this question earlier, you may also be asking? The fact we're on page 101 and I'm trying to get the energy to read the damn thread in full (I've made it up to 70ish + pages after we replaced in after this post) is the other reason.
Yeah, I may be lazy and unmotivated by Ghostlin standards, but I'll just not fuck with you here: I've been pretty busy mafia wise, and the game thread is pretty damn dry.
The plan was quoted pretty much every page after it was declared; I don't know how you missed it.

I guess it was just that much of a relief to see content from that slot that I didn't really think about it. That and the fact that I agreed with his points on Garuda. I'm moving Quilford to null for now, so that makes that slot overall null-scum.
"I'm not sure why I had a really strong townread on Quilford that I mentioned several times he's totally null to me now that's what everyone else is saying right am I a cool kid now look everyone my reads are just like yours"

Just like everyone else is saying that they have a mild scumread on Garuda.
I'm sorry that I haven't actually read your slot thinking logically until now, and every other time when I saw Quilford I only saw that it was so much better than your posts, without realizing that "so much better than your posts" isn't actually enough to make your slot look town.
Also, if everyone else had a null-scum read on you, then why would they all be giving you money?
On that note, I agree that the plan needs to be changed somewhat to have just the general scumreads pass money along to the general townreads. We really just can't afford to risk the entire game on those people being town at this point, because I really can't be too sure. I'm still planning on transferring everything I get, since I realize that I'm being useless and you have no reason to trust me for now. I'll keep working on this whenever I get the time, but that just isn't as often as I'd like it to be.
