I love how you answered your own question with your following sentence

I mean, I don't normally want to speak for someone else, but I think they literally meant that their push on you would generate the more focused day that they wanted, as you have expertly noted

I think votato is Town this game. There, I said it.

but isnt the increasing quality of the wagons (maybe) and the increasing information resulting (definitely) a natural result of moving out of RVS?

nauci, i feel like the two somewhat contradict in terms of internal reasoning. i think both are valid reasons. i just dont think one mind could think both of those things at once.

Hmm I like both this original action and train of thought now that you've fully explained it. Previously I was puzzled by both your vote and his in that moment.

I don't understand why you think that's contradictory?

If he thinks that a genuine push to lynch you will also genuinely generate better discussion, which is what you stated to be true two posts ago, then wouldn't he have been achieving both by doing the former?

@Quick: most of my reasoning was how you plucked out a post from the past when justifying a vote vs voting at the time of the post. And now you just plucked my post haha.

@Puppy: you have a series of posts 229-231 that was the inception of the Votato interaction (231). Your 229 had a question posed to NPOM. I think the votato read only started cause votato responded first and that’s naturally where the conversation went. Since the 229 post, NPOM has gone quiet and hasn’t actually responded. Wouldn’t this be more suspicious and possibly be seen as NPOM letting another read develop while staying away? Basically what I’m saying is that I think town!votato is more likely to respond where scum would stay back and let something pass.

@NPOM: your Nauci read has developed quite a bit. It goes from RVS with a double down in 92. And still (what I believe is throwing shade) Nauci in 185 to having her as top town read in 253. In those 70 posts, what strikes you as town?

Just read one of my responses to VP about votato.
I only see 2 finished games, both of which he was town in and roughly middle of the pack activity wise

no.

pedit: in one of them im not really middle of the pack activity-wise. im very near the top. i think second most? if you just checked that, why would you report wrong? both are town games though, so i dont think its necessarily AI. my activity level fluctuates based on the activity level of the game overall and based on interest in the game. some games are boring or slow or both.

I wasn't comparing it to other people in the game, more to the range of quiet to spammers post counts on the site that I've experienced through many games

Quick’s 229. Initially I had a vote cause I believed he pushed an alternate read to himself that you have mentioned and justified it by picking out content well in the past with the premise of, if Quick was scumreading Atarashi from 139, why was he then pulling it out after already having read it and posted it without being up any Atarashi posts prior your post.

In response to my post voting him, he quoted that 80 posts later and plucked my post from the past vs just commenting on it at the time.

All right, thanks. Think i forgot the reason u voted and got the wrong impression from that one post out of context.

However, if i don't have u as scum i don't have u as town either. i think u're being a little passive, not in a scummie sense, but i think u are a bigger blank to me than some other posters. Help me out. Do u have a second strong scumread besides votato?

No, this is a good point, i had thought about this earlier, i think NPOM is "skimming" a little to invent a term, idk. But i think right now i have hands full looking into votato and all that came from that. Help me out here and develop this like of thought please
