I'm back, sorry for dissapearing, my comp pretty much blew up on me and with the onset of summer I lost the valuable resource of school computers meaning I haven't gotten on the computer for a long time.
I apologise guys, thank you emp for taking over. (I can't really send you the setup so you can finish up, it got burnt up with everything else in my comp) but if you have any questions, my memory will have to do.

(Yes emp, I actually insist you finish, if you still will... I'm not sure I deserve to continue modding atm...)

I'm here, guys, I'm here. I sleep during the day most days so I'm not on when you are.

Yes, I"m Miracle Max, doctor. I've been protecting Commadore Amazing/Thok each night so he can get his results for us.

Now what worries me is that the flavor in the morning's death scene is flavor for Westley/Buttercup, from the movie and the book. Since Westley was already dead at time of posting, and Buttercup died this morning... I'm not sure what can be said about that kiss. I can't really think of anyone that would get that type of bonus with that particular flavor. I have one guess, but I'd rather not say at this time.

Since Foolster is not dead yet, I think it's safe to say that he's scum. I trust in Thok's investigation. But before I drop the hammer... Someone remind me of CES's roleclaim?

If you remember correctly, Glork, which you should, Leodonidis was attacking ME. He basicly said he was convinced I was scum based on 2 reasons:
1.)His Gut Instint (Which he admited is most of his reasoning)
2.)The fact that Ibaesha (Who I replaced) was late and yelled hammer

Here's the quote for prospertity:
Case against Ibaesha[Foolster41]? More based on guts-feeling than anything else. Ibaesha's post 212 stroke me as odd: she votes Aureal, but joins the bandwagon very late. Yet she adds a violent "HAMMAH !" to her vote. Could be mafia voting her comrade, because she knows he's lost and wants to earn some credibility. Or could be a townie genuinely late in joining the bandwagon.
I did not "Attacked Leodonidis" as you say, I attacked his faulty "Evidence" against me.

Why is it bad evidence?
1.)Gut instinct is nice when it's paired with other actual evidence, which I have not seen. (See #2)
2.)Leo puts in a nice totalism at the end "Either means I'm scum or not" Well, DUH! Proving I could either be scum or not is not really saying anything. I'm actually pretty surprised he was telling the truth.

And let it be noted that Glork is the one who brought forth the WIFOM statement first, NOT me.

vpte: Glork
. I have a feeling you may be misguided scum, but I am not really sure if this is all the "Evidence" you have. Please let me know of anything else and I'll be glad to answer it.

Boy, fix one error, find another. "I have a feeling you may be misguided town, not nessicerly scum" is what I meant in the last paragraph.

Nai: Your trusting in an insane investigation? Umm, why? Didn't thok just say that he thinks he's insane, and glork just say the investigation doens't tell them much.

Why do I have to be scum? There are other people who are alive, so by your own standards we all must be scum!

I really really really really really really hope you have a better reason than defending myself against leo's crap logic and trusting blindly on insane investigations. All I ask is that you think really hard about lynching me before you do it.

I admit, I'm a townie so I'd be the best one to lynch, but only if we can't find scum, I think CES at least is a little scummier than me because of jumping on bandwagons.
Remember that if there are two scum left we're at lynch or loose now, so even if I'm "only" a townie, we still loose if you lynch me now.

Nai, Cogito claimed Fezzik, but no role.

The fact that Foolster is voting for Glork rather than me is further proof of his guilt (especially with the whole might be a "misguided townie" thing).
I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.

Cogito Ergo Sum approaches. “Ah, there you are. I saw the Prince's stables, and there they were: four white horses. And I thought, there are four of us, if we ever lynch the lady. Hello, lady!”

He clonks his fist into the head of Glork, who was Valerie, the Back-up Doctor. Then he turns back to the others and sneers. “I give you full marks for bravery. Don't make yourselves fools.”

“Inconceivable!” sputters Thok. “You were supposed to be this colossus…” He sighs and turns to Nai. “Do you think we can win?”

Nai sighs. “It would take a miracle.”

Votes:
Glork: Foolster41, Cogito Ergo Sum [x2] (3)
Foolster41: Glork, Thok (2)

Not Voting: (1) Nai

Game over. Mafia {Cogito Ergo Sum, Aureal, Foolster41} and Inigo {PBuG} win!

Yes, Foolster, I believe the 'insane' cop :p That' why I protecte him every night.

I just wish my team mates would have actually read the things, we might not have lost XD Or, maybe I'm just reading too much into the flavor.

Hmm... Or maybe that was just Buttercup's ability. In any case... Good game, Mafia, good game. Very well played.

Just one question: why did Leonidas die? I sent in the kill for Nai.

Also, Nai, should've hammered Foolster when you had the chance. It would've won you guys the game.

I cannot believe that just happened. If Fool/CES had gotten into the thread first and won, I would've been disappointed, but okay with the outcome. The fact that Nai posted in-thread and neglected to hammer Foolster confuses me beyond belief.

I also want to know why on earth Leonidas chose to boost CES instead of Nai or Thok. It should have been clear as day that they were both pro-town players. I had confirmed Nai/Miracle Max as being in the game and pro-town. So why boost an unconfirmed player when you know we're about to go into Lynch or Lose? That decision made no sense whatsoever. You go with the undisputed Cop, even if he has an inconsistent result on you. It had been proposed (and widely accepted) that Thok was probably insane or paranoid -- but he had been accepted as pro-town, and *NOBODY* had even hinted towards the possibility of being another cop. Thok was town, and was going to see protection from the doc. There was no reason not to give Thok the vote boost.

In all, I'm pretty disappointed. Had the vote-boost not occurred (or had it been given to a pro-town player), we would've had this game handily. It was obvious to me that the scumgroup was either Foolster/Aelyn or Foolster/CES. I figured if Aelyn was actually town, we'd have two good lynches to finish off the game.

[/rant]

Oh well... the scum played well anyway. I'm surprised that you guys didn't kill off the Doc, but you deserved the win. Good game.

....also, I just realized something. That's the first time I've been lynched as a pro-town player in 9 or 10 months(since my first two mini games after coming to MafiaScum). And it was entirely by the Mafia's hands in a situation that should never have occurred. :/

Also, there was reason to doubt Thok. That investigation of the dead guy with questionable sanity could be seen as setting up a lynch-or-lose win. And there doesn't need to be a cop.

Also the only way one would expect Nai to survive is through him being scum.

Roles, as I have them (Tamuz or their original owners will have to supply the rest):
Cogito Ergo Sum
Role Prince Humperdink, Mafia Godfather

Mechanics: You are the Godfather of the Royal Mafia Your partners are Count Tyrone Rugen (Aureal) and The Albino (Lucresia). You have final authority on your nightly kill. Also, you may in lieu of your kill steal one man's life. If this occurs a player who you select and yourself will be impervious to kills for the next 24 hours (as in through that night and the next days lynch). This ability only works when you and the albino are alive. You win with the mafia.

Flavour: You really aren't a BAD guy per se. People just don't like you because you are better than them. And when those horrible people have stolen your lovely bride-to-be you become a mad guy. At all costs you will have these men killed and your dear Buttercup back.
Glork
Role: Valerie, Back-up Doctor

Mechanics: At night, if Miracle Max is dead you may submit to me the name of one player. This player, if they are targeted to be killed, will be saved by your mysterious and almost magical skills. You win with the town.

Flavour: You are the Wife of Miracle Max. After the thousand and one years being marred to the man some of hs magic has worn off on you. In the case of Max's incapacitation you can take over for him the next night.
Thok
Role: Vizzini, Cop

Mechanics: At night you
may
submit to me one player's name. You will receive information on that player and whether or not they are guilty or innocent. You win with the town

Flavour: You're the smart guy. You find things out, and you know things. Once you know things you get other people to go about following the brainy ideas you got. Hell if you do it though.
Nai
Role: Miracle Max, Doctor

Mechanics: At night you may submit to me one character who you wish to perform your miracle on. If the character you target was going to die that night you'll have ended up saving them from a very untimely death. You win with the town.

Flavour: Crazy? Perhaps, but in a very good way. Your also a very vindictive old man. HUMPERDINK! HUMPERDINK! HUMPERDINK! Ahh, how you hate the man and will do anything in your crazed power to get back at him.
Foolster41
Role: The Albino, Mafia Goon

Mechanics: You are the third member of the Royal Mafia, and the lowest ranked member of that mafia. Your partners are Prince Humperdink (Cogito Ergo Sum) and Count Tyrone Rugen (Aureal). You win with the mafia

Flavour: You're miserable, and white. Very white, and very miserable. And yet you do what you are told in service to Prince Humperdink because it gives you a sick sense of pleasure. Plus, seeing your contraptions being put to use is just lovely.

Although you do not have to use this role you can potentially claim the role of The Queen with assurance that this role is not in the game.
Leonidas
Role: Buttercup, Vote Motivator

Mechanics: At night you may choose a player to flirt with. If this player is female there will be no effect. If this player is male they will have a second vote in the morning. You win with the town.

Flavour: Ahh the beautiful Buttercup, the best catch in the land. To you, Helen of Troy was but a joke. With any idle gesture you have men changing their action to impress you or make you notice them. However, when men and beautiful women are in a small place there will be chaos and fighting. This one is about you.
Aelyn
Role: The Clergyman, Wedder

Mechanics: At night you may submit two characters to me. If this set of characters is composed of a male and a female character they will be joined in holy matrimony. Already wedded players cannot be wedded again. You win with the town

Flavour: Love, True Love. This is your calling, and you are empowered by the church to vest pairs in marriage. Go about and forcefully settle the lands
EmpTyger
Role: The Ancient Booer

Mechanics: You win with the town

Flavour: Ahh, the Ugly Old Lady. You are the complete opposite of the lovely Buttercup. Whereas she would cause wars with her beauty, you would cause petrifaction. But hey! Your heart is in the right place. Mensch, you are so ugly you can’t go outside at night without someone killing you. I’m not even sure why I let your face in the game

Nightchoices [partial]:

Mafia: N1 Foolster41 kills EmpTyger, N2 Foolster41 kills jeep, N3 Foolster41 kills Nai*

Buttercup: N1 none, N2 none, N3 Cogito Ergo Sum
Miracle Max: N1 Commodore Amazing, N2 Commodore Amazing, N3 Thok
Vizzini: N1 Leonidas (guilty), N2 jeep (dead), N3 Foolster41 (innocent**)
The Clergyman: N1 none, N2 Aelyn/Leonidas

* Wow, I totally goofed that! I have no idea how. I had created a spreadsheet as I was putting together what data I had, and somehow miscopied the choice. I'm really relieved that that didn't cost you the game. My apologies, CES.

**Obviously I had no way of telling from the information I had. I decided to make you random, since I was guessing anyhow; Tamuz told me later you were supposed to have been paranoid.

I am not one to keep players alive on "I can confirm myself!" grounds, especially if they've already had a chance to do so but have passed up that opportunity (Aelyn could have targeted Leo/buttercup and CA-Thok/Vizzini N2).
