*gasp* I've been caught in the act!

Heh...just so you guys know, there was a game on another site that beaker and I play on in which the Mod could be voted for and lynched, and this was discovered by a player who voted him jokingly. As such, everygame on that site now starts with someone voting the mod, just to see if it works.

Either way, the Beaker wagon is bull. Checking the thread title, it seems we're still in day 1. I think I see a connection.

ok to answer the question of most people....

i dont think Beaker is scum. or at least when i voted him. it was for the sake of a random bandwagon and to get a reaction to see what people would say.

i find some of the reactions intresting... ill jot that down on my notes....

as much as i would love to keep my vote on Beaker BUT we have a lurker alert.

then he omgus the person that was trying to get him active instead of helping the town by placing his vote somewhere useful.

It's always so interesting to see what people have to base thier decisions on in a mini game.
Beaker's posts were strange, yes.. but he's relatively new and is in the back of my mind right now. Fritz is trying VERY hard to "contribute" with his 3 word posts. Raj is calling people scummy.
It is true, however, that cropcircles hasn't done anything.

Well, I think it’s too early to be doing something like this, but I think discussion is lacking and I think this might kick it back into gear.

Beaker
: Has contributed absolutely nothing of substance so far. Voted the Mod, gave an OMGUS vote on Fritz (which was later retracted). We need to hear his suspicions now, instead of him trying to explain himself. He is 55-45 on scumdar, could go either way.

Coolbot
: Helped point out the pointlessness of the Beaker bandwagon. Currently his suspicions are on Nazgul, with two sets of reasoning (early lurker hunts and being the first person to mention dead scum). 45-55 on scumdar, less likely to be scum than others.

Cropcircles
: Practically admitted that he had been lurking, then gave an OMGUS vote (on the third page of the game) which was immediately rescinded. Then he counters the accusation of “not doing anything” by saying that he is not the only player who is “not doing anything”, which is not an argument, as it does not change the fact that Cropcircles has done anything yet. He admits to his post being worthless, but apparently does not seem to see what is wrong with that, seems a tad defensive. 60-40, more likely than others to be scum.

Fritzler
: Tries to push a little bandwagon on Beaker (for joke post voting Mod), and then later says his reason for voting was that players should attempt to find scum, not vote the Mod. Since I consider voting for the Mod equivalent to “no-voting”, I only have slight qualms about it (since I really don’t see an advantage to not voting at the beginning of the game, as it is one of the easiest ways to get a reaction). However, I get the feeling he is just trying to boost up his “posts per day” by wasting space. 50-50 so far.

Glork
: Agreed that the bandwagon on Beaker was unfounded. He thinks Ibaesha is pro-town, is getting bothered with Pwnz’s short posts, and votes Nazgul for being the first to mention dead scum. 50-50 for me. Although I should probably consider the fact that Glork is almost always scum. Hm.

Ibaesha
: Has mentioned the ‘sexiness’ of the Beaker bandwagon a couple times. Missed Beaker’s vote on Fritz, and thinks Glork is being ‘careful’. Playing note: rarely unvotes without voting somebody else. I will have to check your other games to see if I can verify this, but has shown tendency to vote for either Glork or Raj if she changes directions. 55-45 to me, a bit more likely than others to be scum, I am not getting the same vibes as Glork.

Nazgul
: Agrees that the bandwagon on Beaker is just as stupid as other D1 random bandwagons, but seems okay with silly lurker hunts early in the game. However, because Nazgul is newer, I get the feeling newer players only need about a day of not posting to qualify as “lurking”, or at least I get that feeling from newer players. 55-45 so far.

Pwnz
: Says that I’m less likely to be scum since my jaw was bashed in last night, so plus points for him. Asked Beaker for a defense and others for input. Points out Glork keeping his vote on somebody he had just agreed with, and agrees that Cropcircles has done little. Seems on the ball so far. 40-60, much less likely than others to be scum.

Rajrhcpfreak
: Bandwagons on Beaker, telling him “you’re mafia”. He later says that he doesn’t think Beaker is scum (at least when he voted for him?). However, he picks apart Cropcircles “worthless post” fairly well, and I agree with him on much of that post. I think the two balance each other out well enough, so a 50-50 for Raj as well.

PetroleumJelly
: The epitomy of being pro-town. He is just lookin’ for some lovin’. <3 Clearly 0-100, no chance of being scum whatsoever.

60: Cropcircles
55: Beaker, Ibaesha, Nazgul
50: Fritzler, Glork, Raj
45: Coolbot
40: Pwnz
0: PJ

Given that, I might as well
Unvote: Ibaesha
and mosey on over to a
Vote: Cropcircles
.

cropcircles is often scummy and does things like this. In fact, I've pushed a lynch on him before because of it and he turned out to be pro-town. [Mini 241 specifically] The fact that he's not responding to the votes on him is suspicious although somewhat typical as well. I'd like to see a real defense/contribution out of him.

Beaker isn't a total newbie if he's played games on another site. He also needs to contribute more. People without suspicions are suspicious! I'm still not seeing a reason he should be let off the hook so easily. So the bandwagon was BS, why hasn't he contributed?

I liked Glork and Raj's responses after my post. And am glad I didn't change my vote earlier. Get reactions, then vote. See how that works?

I'm not sure why PJ is on my case, but whatever. I've already defended against his accusations. However sometimes it doesn't matter what someone says, a person will still find them scummy. PJ: My wiki page lists all of my completed games. Feel free!

If I were to change my vote right now it'd be to Nazgul. He went lurker hunting a little early in combination with the scum comment and lack of his own contribution. In fact, I will.
unvote; vote Nazgul
however if Beaker doesn't actually contribute, my vote may go back where it came from.

If my count is correct, that would make 4 votes on cropcircles annd 3 votes on Nazgul. Nobody should place any more votes on Cropcircles yet to prevent an accidental lynch without giving him time of day to defend his predicament.

I like the fact that you have analyzed all of the players thus for, PJ, but I also feel that you should be analyzed fairly.

You started out the game with your analysis of what you think could be the role setup. Don't assume.. it makes an ass out of you and me. Also, you can't vote, and yet you have tried to vote for Ibaesha twice, based only on what I can see as a first hunch. Do you know something that we don't?

the sexiness of the bandwagon refers to how if she wasnt married she would totaly have sex with us. even though shes old enough to be out mom.

Hmm, for as low I originally put you on my list, you just moved back up again.

Firstly, in Mini games, I find it pretty standard to speculate as to the role set-up, especially when we have already seen some of the flavor for the Mafia Group. We know that Spaulding (Passdog) was a Mafia Goon: this tells me that there is very likely a Mafia Godfather. And if there is a Godfather, there are usually two goons. You don't have goons without a Godfather, or at least I don't believe I have seen a game without one. Mafia do not kill themselves, and the killer was not LoudMouthLee (or else he would have used his one Uzi bullet). We have seen that instead his face was mauled off. Since the only character I can think of from Caddyshack with the ability to potentially maul people is the Gopher, I have speculated that the gopher is the Serial Killer (unless you are going to try to convince me the mauler is a second Vigilante).

Further, we have already seen the death of a 1-Shot Vigilante, LoudmouthLee. He was doused with Jack Daniels and lit on fire. This is one of the Mafia killing abilities, and we can determine that each mafia member has a different ability, since Spaulding specifically states that he could kill people by choking them with wads of money (or at least that's what the flavor of the opening scene implies). So we know that somebody other than Passdog and LML performed the kill on Spaulding N1.

I think my speculation on the set-up is fairly clear and supported by the flavor we have seen since this game has opened.

Further, directly asking me "whether I know something" about Ibaesha sounds a lot like fishing to me. I will neither confirm nor deny if I have any information on Ibaesha.

You want a defense?

Anyone who thinks that lynching someone for having no real content in their first post of the game probably doesn't catch many scum.

Vote pwnz

I would be at 5, but of course PJ's vote doesn't count. Very attentive of you to remember that.

And post 70 is way too passive aggresive for my liking.

Ok people, stop with the abbreviations. What in the hell do things like WIFOM and OMGUS mean? This is the reason why the youth of our nation suck so horribly at spelling.

Hey, if you think that PJ is scum, by all means vote for him.
Trying to tag me with a mafia sticker still isn't defense enough for me to change my vote on you, however. You are just all the more a more obvious candidate for “scuminess”. I want to see you defend yourself rather than attempt to divert attention.
