@brassherald: my recommendation would be to give the slot to maestro and see if he confirms once you get the game going. if not, then you could always ask for a replacement for his slot! i’d think somebody would for sure replace in seeing that the game has a full cast, is ready to go, and they would not have any catching up to do.

No, he can't start the game and "see if he confirms". That is what confirming a pre-in is for. He can choose to wait, or to let someone else sign up.

I will let someone else sign up, Maestro was sent a PM by me, read it, and has since posted in another section of the site. He seems cool, but it's been a week.

During each day phase, the town must work together to complete a challenge given to them by the mod. If the town successfully completes the challenge, they will be rewarded with a random townie secretly becoming a power townie. Not really no. However, the scum team are given extra information at the start of each challenge which usually contains either the solution to the challenge or advice on how to sabotage it.

Edit: Also, BTD6_maker has both reviewed the game and is going to be a Co-Mod.

Edit2: Being the smart game designers we are we have mostly come up with a way around it (aka BTD6_maker suggested a way around it and I agreed).

This game will be based on Astrology. To play you must PM me your Sun sign from Western (Tropical) Astrology. This will be Public knowledge. You will recieve a Moon sign as your ALIGNMENT, and your Sun/Moon combination will feature a unique role. Aka the roles will be balanced according to the Sun signs of people present. Play at your own Risk of Sanity. There will be astrological events that occur throughout the game and effect gameplay.

Is it possible your game has any of the following bastard roles or mechanics? cults, mid-game alignment changes, moderator lies that cannot be reasonably anticipated (for example, Godfather, Tailor, Miller, Ninja, and mechanics like that are generally fine. Telling someone they are a reflexive doctor when they're actually a PGO is not), secret win conditions, un-divulged non-randomness in player role/alignment generation, direct moderator influence during the game.
