I was not going to leave her at L-1 overnight on Carey's sudden change of heart.

I haven't played many majority-vote games. The ones I have played, players were very careful about putting people at L-1 without some consensus about it. One of the few times it did happen without consensus, somebody kind of impulsive hammered about 10 minutes later.

I"ve not seen someone get to L-1 here at MS that way without either consensus or a temporary unvote. I'll have to think about whether there was concern about someone trolling. Pretty sure that was not the case except maybe once.

You know what bothers me? GM's rather mild reaction to Carey's vote.

It's like he's a huge blind spot in the game - a lot of useless, irrelevant posts, a lot of demands from others for input while giving little himself. And we're mostly complacent about it because of his meta.

That sounds pretty boring IMO.

Really? I don't think I've ever seen someone get to L-1 here that way.

What were you expecting I'd do? I don't find L-1 to be a big deal.

I got a better night's sleep with a player in this game not at L-1. I'm enough of an insomniac as it is.

I have. Including in the previous newbie game I played.

Wtf you were already voting for him :P

Sigh, Carey...

@Mac I'll get one, probably later tonight.

I agree with ff's cautiousness about L-1, mainly because I'd giving the lynchee the chance to defend themselves, I'd hate to lynch a cop or doc without even giving them the chance to roleclaim.

That's why we "intent to hammer" before hammering.

Everyone should do that.

But like i said, both the newbies can't be scum which is highly unlikley, but both the scum can be in SE & IC which is likely but these could be pretty much assumptions what i can confirmly look at right now that there is at least one scum in out of 2 SE's and 1 IC, which narrow down my hunt to 3 people out of 9, Once we take down the first scum, and based on how the bussing or budding went throuh, it is possible to assume the other scum easily.

Looking at Arc's posts, she has mainly just pushed this idea; the fact that one of the se/ics MUST be scum. Guess what? If it's truly randomized, then two newbies are equally as likely as one newbie/one se/ic. Nearly everytime someone has pushed some "math/odds" based cases, they've been scum.

Why? It allows scum to pretend to scumhunt on the crutch of this; you really want to just narrow your scumhunt on the three most experienced players in the game? That's really bad. So bad it's suspicious.

Fos:Arc

pedit:Carey: if you're town, please replace out.

so whats your point? what i said about this possibility was before MOD confirming that he used random.org website to assign the roles.
So what is really bad in what i said? this post sounding like very oppurtunist...

Its pretty obvious now Scum joined in my wagon with pretty shady reasons, and I am going fish them out...
I now actually FFER town for the same reason how she doesn't want to prematurely get me lynched, I doubt scum in this group would play that kind of card to earn town cred
Good Morning, you are not giving much as i am expecting, so not is really cool.
Carey and Dares - Bleeding SCUM, I am going check your ISO and get back on that.
MAC still looks TOWN!!

That's an excuse you going to use for???
You're either being derp or just playing out us in this way.. Eitherways, I will check on that..

And the rest of you whoever think that i was lurking, you're wrong. I am in a lot of games and also playing as a Hydra and running a two communties. So My hands are bit full. I was just behind catching up.. Not lurking and most definitely haven't given up yet!!!

"It was just a reaction test" is a common Scum excuse.

I think Rev's point is that you suggesting that is a bit poor. Like you are looking for a reason to lynch our SEs and ICs by saying one of them could be scum. If that was the case newbie games would be a breeze cos everyone would just vote the SE's and IC's and be guarenteed a scum in there.

@ Mod
- any closer to a Fropome replacement?

You're saying here that you have intentionally dumbed down or failed to develop your town game so that your scum game is indistinguishable from it.

Playing terribly as town so you can skate as scum is no way to play mafia.

It's helpful that the two people at L-2 have their votes on each other. << example of me using irony

ArcAngel, is Carey really your best guess at scum?

Carey, why are you sheeping me? Why did you pick a player who has no game experience with anyone else playing besides someone who subbed out?

Posted: Tue Apr 09, 2013 10:32 am

Carey is a deal, he is anti town as hell.
He is derping crazily and for a SE player that is not accepted. And moreover, he is openly admiting his effort less playstyle.
the problem is that he could that as as scum and also VI, which is hard to say and its hurts town. Town or not, if someone walks like scum, talks scum and acts scums makes them scum.

And check out his reason to vote me.. He says that he wanted me to back in game so he voted.. WTH? He put me at L-1, that wasn't not a town play.
