STD: Who, besides Smashy, do you think might be scum?

I will have reduced access Dec 29-30 and almost no access Dec 31/Jan 1, though I don't think that'll be a significant problem in this game.

Possibly Yosarian, but I don't really have anything incriminating.

I'm not sure how we're supposed to get this game in gear again. Not putting StD at lynch-1 at the moment until everyone gets back or something.

I'm willing to put him back at Lynch -1.
Vote: StD

Before we do that, though, I still want clarity on the one point; would it it possible for mith to take STD's role and add it someone else, confirming them both? Or do we not want to plan something like that for fear of a scum role-blocker-divider-misdirecter-square root of evil flying pumpkin role messing with it?
I still want an answer from Mith on this before we lynch STD.

I still think it's pretty much moot, as STD is scum and I'd rather not entrust protection to the likes of him.
Here's what I propose:
Mith targets Glork as player A, Brutal Assassin as Player B.
Brutal Assassin protects Glork.
Glork targets Mith and Brutal Assassin, thereby protecting them both from outside harm.
I'd really, really,
REALLY
rather not take Scum The Dragons into the equation. He's scum. He needs to die a horrible death.

Back from taking a bit of a break from the internet...
I'm still convinced Yosarian is scum, and I haven't really got any idea why. The gut is just screaming at me. I desperately need to reread. Too much 24 and football this week.
(I will point out though that he has now asked a question three times which I addressed in the post where I claimed. And which Glork then repeated soon after. And the gut does not like this.)
I'm also still waiting on some confirmation that ubertimmy and BA are still around. Or that they are being replaced.
I need to reread StD as well. I haven't seen a particularly strong case from Glork; the "a doc and Glork's role would be broken" might be stronger for me if not for the fact that my own role was pretty broken on its own before it was modified - I find it far more likely that the game is just horribly balanced. That said, I don't have any good reason to think he's innocent either, and Glork's plan is fine as long as there's no weird scum abilities (in which case StD wouldn't be confirmable anyway). Given all that, I might hammer him once I'm sure BA is active to carry out the plan. Hopefully by that point, I'll be caught up.

So, wait...BA protects you with your own ability that mith gave to him, which makes you untargatable? Would that really work? Or would making you untargatable stop mith from targeting you, making mith's ability fail, making his attempt to give your ability to BA fail?
Could someone (mith, I guess) clarify this with the mod?
At this point, I'm not sure I believe mith's claim either, and I don't want to go to night until we figure out exactally how we're going to test hm tonight and he agrees to it.

Mith: I think my prior case against StD is about as strongly founded/voiced as your current case against Yos2. I just picked up on something and decided that he and Vis were scumbuddies. I still trust that my prior instincts are correct.
I want to hear from Dahen, and I'd like to hear some update from the
mods
on the
status of UberTimmy and BrutalAssassin
. I'm willing to bet that there are people willing to replace even with such a post restriction, and having both of those players completely inactive is still very irritating.

Ok, time to catch up in this game too.
First,
mith - good post on Yos vs. Vis, but I'd say good defense by Yos as well.
Then,
Claims. I like them. This is what I think:
STD is mafia, but he really is a square roof. It's obvious that the good guys are math experts. Only scum would be given a name of "square roof" (compare square root)
Now, as you have said, it seems to be a powerful town, meaning STD could well have some ability related to this roof. But I'd like to see him lynched. His ability is to simple compared to what other abilities we have seen in this game.
Ok, lots of setup speculation. But I think it's valid here.
I'll read through the suggested strategies again, though, and see if I can find anything.

This, I don't understand:
mith wrote:
Night 1 I targetted Glork as A and myself as B. I received doc abilities, which I used on Glork.
That doesn't fit with Glork's claim.

mith wrote:
I target him as A, if he's a doc then whoever I pass the ability to can protect someone, and if he's scum they can just kill him during the night.
Are you saying that if A is mafia and B is town that B would get a kill ability? I guess there are more than one mafia left. What if the other mafia is the one making the kill. Are you completely sure of this?

BA wrote:
I have not recieved any powers on any night. As was mentioned, it was blocked by Glork due to my isolation.
If you didn't get any PM you can't know if the power was blocked. What I'm saying is there might have not existed at all. I'm very sure of Glork's claim, but not 100% of mith's. Just keep an open mind.

I would like to suggest a name-claim, since I believe we all have names. No parenthesis, no extra, just the name.

Not seeing what a name-claim would accomplish given our little day 1 fiasco with Armlx

Ah, yes. I thought it was a great difference between Malcolm Johnson and Wenslaus Skobka. Especially since Skobka is the russian word for bracket.
But on the other hand, who would have thought of EFRAN.
So maybe not name-claim then? What do you other guys say?

As stated in my original post, night 1 I received a doc ability, not Glork's exact ability - I assume this is because Glork's ability is mostly protective in nature.
It doesn't matter anyway. Even if this was changed after night 1 as well (which would be extremely screwy), BA would just have to target Glork as A and me as B to avoid the paradox.
I think my prior case against StD is about as strongly founded/voiced as your current case against Yos2. I just picked up on something and decided that he and Vis were scumbuddies. I still trust that my prior instincts are correct.
Huh. I had been wondering if I was just missing something, since I haven't reread this thoroughly yet.
I believe stikey's voting for StD based on a slip earlier, which I hadn't noticed until reading it just now.
I would like to see where everyone else stands on StD. He's been the default lynch most of the day, and at the very least I'd like that information for tomorrow. If you've voted for StD (or said you would vote for him, or just find him suspicious), why? If you think he's innocent, why?

I just reread over StD's posts, and... I dunno. I seriously have barely any interest in this game, with two of our players barely posting due to PRs and some screwed up mechanics in general.

I think STD's innocent because his role PM says so and describes a role that's typically carried in mafia games.
