Why didn't I point out the obvious logical flaws in your argument before I got lynched? That's a good question.
A) You asked this question 7 hours before deadline at 11+ish EST AM
Which for my timezone is 11+ish at night, so I only had about 1 hour to think about it before I went to bed and sleep past the deadline.
B) I rebuffed it already with the obvious reason that it makes no bloody sense flavor wise for the "Rogue" states to have rules regarding the exchange of their nuclear weapons, I notice that since you haven't come up with flavor only reinforces my point.
C) It's 7 hours before deadline, I had pretty much thought it was hopeless at that point for me to avoid a lynch because you had all been unwilling to unvote and I had more than enough votes to be lynched.
D) I had asked for a deadline extension multiple times by launching a fake nuke which none of you choose to do, in fact this was actually another point in my favor since if I actually WAS scum, I'd be likely to have a scumbuddy with no nukes who would launch a fake nuke so that I could try to wiggle my way out of a lynch and he could claim due dilligence and what not. The fact that not even the scum were willing to extend my trial shows implicitly that the verdcit you've chosen in regards to me in fact does favor the scum.
E) Honestly I had come up with so many good logical reasons why I wasn't scum and these were really observable ones and been met with incredibly stupid rebuffs and just plainly being ignored by some of the lurkers who'd turned in and didn't bother reading that I was quite angry at the game and probably had my judgement clouded.
F) Here's another question for you, why didn't any of you come up with that reasoning? Is it because you were blatantly negilgent during this game? Is it because you don't feel like reading the logic that was so meticulously laid out by me?

A) You couldn't rebuff my argument in an hour?
B) I still contend that this point is wrong. If you were America, and I believed you could be, your nuke restrictions made sense with you being America. As a country trying to take over the world, you had to avoid nuclear war, so you couldn't just launch all your nukes at everyone. Therefore, it would not make sense for a scum America to NOT have restrictions on their nuking policy, because that would just make it obvious they weren't kosher. In addition, I had suspicions that you had made up your restrictions but could fire a fake nuke before firing real ones.
C) Fair enough
D) Our fake nuker was dead.
E) I disagree, but we won't get anywhere arguing that
F) No. I actually paid attention to this game.

by now a ranger
Erm... Zu_faul had 0 nukes and was a pro-town cop. So I wasn't the only one who could have fake nuked in that situation had I been alive.

I actually thought it possible there was a rogue state that was in the process of acquiring nukes, so had none to start with, then received a PM off Yos at some point stating 'you have now achieved nuclear power status. You have X nukes.'

They let me out for a few days (It's so much better being a soldier in the reserves than in the regular army), so I have time to post before the game is locked.
It's the first game where I'm not accused as being scum immediately (Ironically I'm better at endgame, but I usually get lynched earlier), so I just got nuked because of a misunderstanding.
I'd really like to sign up for the next MAD mafia (If it begins after June 27th).
This game ended in a weird way... We'll see how we do next time.
I have a few ideas for roles or rules. I can write them down and send them if you'd like (Yos2).

Sure, Y, I'd love to see your thoughts. And yeah, I'd definatly consider running another MAD mafia, if there's interest.
The Fonz: Y was a pro-town country with almost that power, actually; Japan started out with no nukes, but would make 1 nuclear weapon on day 2.

But Zu_faul was lurking and not paying attention. Those of us that were actually here could not fake nuke. Pooky was the one who could fake nuke, but he didn't.

I think it would have been very obvious that I was either scum or power role then, don't you think?

I couldnt fakenuke btw

by Yosarian2
Yeah; Pooky asked if he could fakenuke, but he had already lanched a ICBM, and while perhaps I didn't make it clear in the rules I never intended to create a system where people could pospone a deadline indefinatly by launching an infinate number of fake ICBM's.
