no, it accomplishes telling us if you're scum throwing a townread on Micc just to WK him/defend him or if you're actually seeing something town we should also look at.

But, if I'm scum, I KNOW Micc is town and it's even easier to provide reasoning for Town!Micc. Explaining scum-reads, as scum, is much more difficult. Unless, of course, you choose not to explain them.

I disagree. If you give compelling evidence for micctown, we can see your thought process and maybe even conclude micc is town after all. Isn't that what you want? For other people to townread your townreads?

In addition, if you explain your townread now, it will be harder to backtrack.

You can't do it for Scum!Micc though

When the "townread" is on someone who's likely to be lynched soon, yes it is worth your time. Especially when you're vocal in opposing the Micc wagon and no one knows why.
