Because you're not sorting the game in a way that convinces me you don't already know people's alignments. You tunnel the first viable wagon and don't have any scumreads outside of that, which as I said earlier is a common new scum strat to prevent giving away too many associatives should you flip. I think there's good scum equity in you/dgb and if you're indeed scum Nero is locktown.

It would help if you are town, to untunnel and look for some other suspicious slots.

Scum certainly could post mid readthrough, but I feel like that's more of a townie thing, especially with something like that.
