Yeah well you're an over-reactor.

Vote: q21

For the curious: My vote on forbbidan is not a serious vote. I was merely doing it to prove that I could vote for as many people as I liked and not just two. My question to forbiddan was a serious one and admittedly should have been framed differently so as to try and shield whoever the seeker is/might be.

Looking over the thread and keeping track of the votes, and comparing them to the vote counts by the moderator, I believe the following is accurate:

1) Farside's vote on Dripping Goofball has never been counted in any of the four votecount posts (at posts 10, 38, 52, and 65), leading one to believe that Farside's vote - at least for now - does not have any effect. Votes by others on Dripping were counted, so it isn't that Dripping is vote immune.

2) Drake's multiple votes are counted in each votecount at posts 38, 52 and 65, so he has multi-voting ability, at least up to 3 at present.

3) Forbiddan's multiple votes were all counted in votecount at post 52 and after her unvote, they were all removed in votecount at post 65, so she has unlimited multi-voting ability at present.

4) Veerus' multiple votes were not counted in votecount at 52, but his vote went to Remoroid, who was the last player on his list of votes. It appears that each subsequent vote was treated as an unvote, as his prior vote on Dripping Goofball was not counted, nor were his votes for each player on his list, save the last one. So, unvotes are not necessary and subsequent votes effectively 'unvote' a prior vote of a player who does not have multi-voting ability.

5) Some inaccurate vote counts previously showed certain players voting for players whom they had not, in fact, voted, but those appear to be all edited and corrected now.

6) The current vote count, therefore, is:

Dripping: 0 (potentially 1 Farside)
Veerus: 0
Citizen: 1 (Haschel)
Rokov: 0
Forbiddan: 1 (Drake)
Rest: 1 (Drake)
Haschel: 1 (Citizen)
Jazz: 2 (Rest, Remo)
Dancha: 2 (Drake, Rokov)
Drake: 2 (Dancha, Q21)
Q21: 0 (potentially 1 Drake if Drake has at least 4-vote ability)
Farside: 0
Remo: 1 (Dripping)

Not voting: Veerus, Forbiddan, Jazz
Vote not counting: Farside

I'll try to keep track of the vote count as the game continues, at least so long as the 'official' count continues to be bastardized... :)

Jazz

This is just crazy. I wish I could count so I could keep track. But seriously. I can't.

I also wish I knew what DTF and forbiddan were talking about. I don't.

So I'm not sure what to say...

Who's out there hunting scum? All I see is discussion about vote counts and seekers and other things that confuse me. I can't wait until we get the vote count thing cleared up so we can get started for real, because honestly, I can't keep track of that sort of thing.

I guess I'll quit being glib now, since we gettin' serious.

Hey everyone: Tell us how many people you are allowed to vote for! I can vote for as many people as I damn well please. So can forbiddan. How about the rest of you? It should be pretty simple to figure out where the vote counts are going wrong if we know for sure who all is allowed to vote for how many people.

Unvote: RestFermata
. I don't actually think it's suspicious that you're alive. Curious, but not suspicious.

Unvote: forbiddanlight
. I almost don't feel like doing this, since I figure q21's gonna have himself a field day, but I think this vote has served its purpose.
q21 wrote:Regardless of how you claim you meant it what it looked like was scummy.
I disagree. And I dislike your logic and your strict interpretation.
Remoraid wrote:so what you're saying is that you are unable to help hunt scum? could it be because you're scum?
So what YOU'RE saying is that you're too lazy to do anything other than post twice and attack somebody who's actually posted consistently for professing confusion over the game state in a game A). Set up to be confusing, and B). Still in the very early stages?

Vote: Remoraid
.

Recap: I am now voting for - Danchaofan, q21, and Remoraid
No longer voting for - RestFermata, forbiddanlight
That is helpful. Thanks ^^ -Neko

DraketheFake, what are you doing? That vote on q21 clearly looked like an OMGUS vote to me. So did the one on Citizen Karne. Stop that.

Also, to everyone, just because you CAN vote multiple people, doesn't mean you should be treating your vote as a FoS.

I don't like Remoraid's vote on RF.

Plz to be stop hunting for information you don't need. I don't see how knowing how many votes people think they have does anything, since it seems like some people have more votes than they were aware of and some people thought they could vote, but they can't.

Also, why are you still voting for Danchaofan if you're apparently playing seriously now? Your vote on him was a joke vote, wasn't it?

unvote
. I would like to vote for DraketheFake, but I think that would put him at L-2. Some people in this game seem to be going nuts with their voting, so I'd rather wait a bit to ensure he doesn't get accidentally lynched.

My role PM doesn't imply anything about voting irregularities.

In other news, DraketheFake is the OMGUSiest player I've ever played with, and I've played with DeliciousGoldfish. Remoraid's vote for RestFermata hinges on an interpretation of RestFermata's words that I feel is unrealistic.

See...part of me wants to save him because it's entirely possible he's looking for the action I do every night to target him, but given this is a bastard mod game, it's entirely possible it results in a scum/town mason pairing, both of us exploding, or something I'm not even thinking of. So, I'm conflicted...I will admit there appears to be a lot of OMGUS going around from him.

Scummy list (in no particular order)
Restfermata: hunt scum on your own. To help you out: Do you think DTF is omgus'ing? Do you think his omgus'ing is scummy? why or why not?

DTF: omgus'ing

veerus & CK: I see votes being added with little additional content and little analysis of other players.

May I ask why MY role information concerns you? If you are town, it doesn't matter. Your job is to scumhunt. If you are scum, why should I tell you? So you can kill me if it seems good? Dislike the rolefishing here, and since you aren't apparently looking for something from me,

Vote Danchaofan

 Yes, instead of getting on with the actual game we should drive the whole Mod messing up the votecount thing into the ground.

A bit jumpy, aren't we? An extraneous vote this early in the game is about as meaningless as... a normal FoS.

Extra votes are pro-town. They allow a more thorough record of my suspicions and keep pressure higher on scummy players. Encouraging a player not to use a pro-town tool is suspect at best.

In normal games everyone has just one vote, so more thought (should) go behind votes when they are made. You seem to be taking advantage of having multiple votes by voting for a ton of people without solid reasoning. If people keep this up, I can easily imagine accidental lynchings when people aren't paying enough attention to how many votes people have.

I am surprised that last post of yours didn't include a vote for me.

Explain to me how knowing how many votes people have helps us at all.

I suppose that makes two of us, but my contrarian instinct to play hard-to-get combined with my notion that your misguided line of fire comes more from a lack of foresight than actual malice means you're gonna have to go it alone for now.
