Okay, I just tried to quote the CDB-xvart-Morthas bit, but the site went all screwy on me and I decided, "Fuck it."
Basically, CDB explains the random vote thing to Morthas, and Morthas immediately backs down. He hops onto xvart, because he dislikes xvart's reason for voting gandalf (he had inside flavor knowledge).
For the record, CDB is town, I'm town, gandalf is town.
ABR/Porochaz seems TOWNish, not ready to put them in the ::confirmed:: column yet.
zoraster needs to get his ass into this game, he posted his confirmation then disappeared.

Because I couldn't find anywhere in the original post that suggested there were characters outside the Community canon so I wanted to know where he got that. Then, he clarifies that he was actually asking the mod whether or not the scum were characters outside the Community canon which is flat ridiculous as what moderator is going to say "yes, you are looking for Rosanne Barr, some Cheers character, and Danny Tanner. It's scum distraction because even if the mod did tell us the scum are not Community characters what good does that do us? It's the old "hey look how town I am because I parsed out this worthless information that might tell us who the scum are if we massed character claimed". And the fact that he repeated it several times in a row suggests that he is just fluffing around at the expense of wasting the day talking about who the scum characters might be instead of actually hunting scum based behavior. Anyway, it's the old "I know what the scum actually are so I'm going to facilitate a worthless discussion on who they might be so we don't actually look at behavior.
Yes, the mod didn't answer the opposite of what you thought. My statement was the mod would not confirm↑ gandalf5166 wrote:When the guy is pulled aside, it calls the three people in the room "sitcom characters". I thought that was strange, but then I realized that Community is of course a sitcom, so they could be talking about those characters. And two posts before yours, the mod DID answer my question. So yeah. Shut the fuck up. You just lost three internets.

the Community canon if it were true. The point is what were you hoping to achieve by knowing the scum members might not be Community characters? How does that help us scum hunt? At this stage there is no gain from knowing that the scum team might be random sitcom characters unless you think the scum are going to be so stupid to breadcrumb Uncle Jesse or something like that. It's a distraction, and scum motivated. With everything else that is going on I have to ask why? Has David even posted? Why are you avoiding everything else going on at the expense of pushing a vote on someone who hadn't even posted? Is he lurking scum?
Which is it? You think your vote is wasted on a V/LA player or because you think his response is town? You can't have it both ways because in the former you think the person is still scummy and in the latter you think he is town. You can't keep your voting record straight under pressure.
UNVOTE:
VOTE: Morthas
Is this the overly contrived RVS vote argument someone made before? Because my vote wasn't RVS.

I do, for the exact reason you pointed out above.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

1)Gandalf was talking to the mod initially, not the players IIRC. So you can't say he was trying waste town's time.
1)
What i said before, how could it have been a way to facilitate worthless discussion if he didn't even direct the question to the players? Your reasoning was bullshit. 2)I am not sure you even understand what happened, let me recap. I vote for V/LA person at RVS thinking ''Oh hey it's RVS, I should just vote someone", CDB tells me how and why it is stupid and I change my vote to you. If you think I thought Amrun is scum at any point in time so far, well, you are wrong.
3)Well fine, NOT COMPLETELY. Your reason to vote Gandalf felt contrived while being serious.
I am not claiming page 4 unless everyone is serious about lynching me this early.

Uh...what?
All I did was explain a sequence of events. That wasn't a case. It wasn't even anything remotely resembling a reason why he's scummy.
Explain exactly what the fuck you meant.
CDB, get your vote off of this wagon IMMEDIATELY before Hindu does something stupid. Saying you're not going to unvote until you get home is pointless.

Seriously...
"I don't want Morthas lynched, but I'm not unvoting."
Why?
"Because people are saying interesting things about this wagon."
Does. Not. Compute.
