i think "conversation in abstraction" puts into words what i've been vaguely feeling about most of meg's posts but was struggling to express.

I agree that I am working in abstracts. I don't really see the problem with doing so, though I realize it probably doesn't do a whole lot to get the point across. (i.e. Vulture wagon started up for the same reasons I had pushed them, but stated in an evidently clearer push by Titus.) I work in abstracts for a few reasons.
(this is assuming you are using the dictionary definition of abstraction, please inform me if its a different term, couldn't find anything on the wiki)
1. I understand I am likely the lim today, and want to bring up my observations about the game to try to help give input after I am dead. (primary reason for the following question)
2. I enjoy working in abstracts, as it can help me from tunneling on a particular townie and try to reason out the game and player's perspectives on situations.

A question in general I'd like to discuss is to assume I'm voted out today, and flip green. Who do you scumread now and why?

You are aware I am town -> you see the wagon but assume people will also recognize I am town -> you fear it flipping back onto you.

working in abstracts makes you much harder to read. it's easy to point out *what* a player is doing and explain why it could come from town or it could come from scum because theory. and it's also a common scum tactic because it brings very little to the table but it looks like ~doing something~.

I kinda feel like if you’re town you’re wrong based on the last few pages and if you’re scum you’re buddying me.

Meg on the other hand I can use to check the Ari slot. Pretty much their entire useful ISO started only after I poked her. I think she is wrong on Prism and Meg to me is the scummier of the two.

If Meg flips scum then Prism is probably scum and I was wrong and I eat crow.

If Meg flips town though then I am likely right on my Prism read and with the lack of interaction/desire to hunt Ari goes down in my scum pool.

Pretty much I am using it as a check on her since she ignored the how confident are you question. Pretty much all my townreads are split on three wagons. If we don’t start consolidating we aren’t going to have a main town group and that’s going to be pretty damaging.

@Math, You're the one who literally asked me to break and shake things up rather than being on Chaos and letting things go passively.

Now that I've done that, you're complaining about the result.

It's been less than an RL day.

We have a solid towncore, which is my towncore minus me. We're doing ok here. No need for doom and gloom.

Also, using one flip to check someone based on their read accuracy rarely works. Genuine can be wrong.
