Welcome, ladies and gents, to the peaceful little town of East Milling. It is a relatively quiet little town, a close-knit community of just around a thousand people. A brook runs through the center of the village, leading to Lake Nelsonmore on the town outskirts. The most notable building in this town is its church; a massive stone-and-mortar structure with towering stained-glass windows and a bell that can be heard clearly even on the outskirts. Next to the town is a beautiful meadow, where the children play. At night, the only thing occupying the minds of the townspeople is the natural luminescence of the stars that dot the sky.
Unfortunately, there have been a lot of arguments recently between some of the residents of Moore Street. A special town meeting has been called to address these problems. I will be your town moderator for this meeting. The meeting will begin today at approximately 8 AM. Please make sure that you sign your name in the register on your way in.

Laws, Statutes, and Other Various Delicious Tidbits
1. All votes must be made in
bold
. Unvoting is not required when switching your vote to another player. Remember to be cheerful!
2. A majority of votes is required to lynch, except at deadline or if otherwise stated. At deadline, one less than the required majority of votes is required to lynch. During the neighborhood best lawn competition, your lawn
must
be trimmed to within one-eighth inch of the appropriate height to be considered.
3. You
MUST NOT POST IF YOU ARE DEAD
. A plot will be provided for you in the neighborhood cemetary.
Lakeside plots are available for a $500 surcharge.
4. This game will have deadlines of 2 weeks for all days. All nights will have a 72 hour night choice deadline. Night choices will continue to be accepted up until I begin processing night actions. You will not be informed of when this secondary deadline hits, so get your choices in early. And don't forget, coming up in March is the St. Patrick's Day dinner down at St. Mary's Catholic Church! All the cabbage and corned beef you can eat for just a $3 donation!
5. The town moderator's word is the law. All people found disobeying will be forcibly ejected from the town by the local police force. Remember to support your police by giving a small donation to the East Milling Police Department's Children's Fund. All proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.
6. Quoting or faking any official missives received from the town is grounds for ejection from the town. East Milling Police: Keeping you relatively safe since 1929!
7. The town moderator reserves the right to change the rules of the town meeting at his discretion if he so feels the need. All complaints must be submitted in writing into the suggestion furnace.
8. The loudspeaker system, also known as the ooc tag, is for the use of the town moderator only. Do
not
use it, or you
will
receive a citation. Furthermore, the first week in July is the annual East Milling Independence Festival! Celebrate our country's independence with fireworks, live entertainment, and fun for all ages!
9. Due to an outdated town ordinance that was enstated by the selectmen in 1956, whispering is not allowed. You may not talk outside of the town meeting at any point in time. You may only talk at night if your role says you may. A special hearing will be held on August 3rd to discuss a repeal of this law.
10. You must speak up every 72 hours during the town meeting, or the town moderator will be forced to address you. If you fail to do so, then we will find someone else who will talk.
According to the town charter, in times of great peril, danger in the town, civil unrest, boredom, etc. the player at the bottom of the user list should be blamed.
Vote: Dean Harper.

Citizens of East Milling, we are here today as a community divided; mostly divided by the infighting between the people of Moore Street. The town selectmen have decided that the best course of action is to hold a series of special town meetings. At each, we will force one person out of town via a majority vote. This will continue until everyone is happy.
So, without further ado, I yield the floor to the residents of Moore Street for our first day of the town meetings.
And the owner of the white sedan, you left your lights on.
Just looked over the charter. It appears that Slicey and I just started another game together and I voted him there. Might as well keep the pattern going.
Vote: Slicey
*raises fist* You're going down, Slicey! Better give back those potatoes! Otherwise, I'ma get you lynched one way or another!
pepoel who spel bad and don't know grammer is jerks
Master Ruck wrote:No, but is this not also a typical random voting stage? At the very least I'd like to know why the game has started with 2 players unaccounted for.
Is it being the random voting stage an excuse for anything? And I'd ask how your vote will help to determine the answer to your second question.
