Given this statement we should expect no attacks from you later on in the game based on the premise of inconsistency in reads I take it?

In other words, you accuse me of something and then proceed to do aforementioned thing in your next post. That's a double-standard, son,

Emphasis added. Why is being self-inconsistent in the RVS inherently worse than out of RVS, which is your implication.

I see you’ve adopted the Fate / Sprexy / xReckx playstyle of being scummy for survivalist reasons. Good to know as the game goes forward.

In the other game I just started with you, you changed your vote 4 times within the first half of the day (real time) and got very defensive about it. Something very suspicious about your play style.

1. Stop referencing active games.
2. Why is his playstyle suspicious? Have you met Fate / Sprexy / xReckx / Ythan?

I don't rely on meta cause I've played too many games where meta basically helped town lose.

QFT. Meta is a crutch for the weak. At best it serves as minor support for well-founded and presented suspicions (this is IMO, btw).

L-4 on page two seems just a little excessive on page 2, doesn't it? I'll hold my vote until we hear from Tasky.

I extremely dislike questions designed to make others fight, reeks of scumbag trying to take advantage of a town-town situation.

Do you think it is unreasonable for Zang (or anyone, for that matter) to question a read based solely on playstyle? Realistically it’s a solid line of questioning IMO.

Magna, I don't really want to defend RC here but I've seen him act this way at all times.

1. Quaint but you really do want to defend him because otherwise you wouldn’t have bothered to post the sentence.
2. Unless you read the Mini Smalltown – Stardust Mafia Day 1 to see how RC’s style has radically changed I could see you believing it. Easily he got caught red-handed Day 1 as scum (and should have died had I not made a bone-head decision Night 1). So from that point on he’s adopted this new style.

For the record MagnaofIlusion posts a lot of stuff but only 5% of that is valuable info. Id suggest a more concise approach. Magna, who are your top suspects and why?

I'd suggest that your Town / Scum lists are pointless exercises that make you look busy. All in all my playstyle isn't really going to change, but thanks for the suggestion.

I'll provide my thoughts on who I suspect once I've had time to properly get a read. 24 hours doesn't quite work for me.

The only thing in that statement you could readily call an ‘opinion’ is that you are experienced. You are, in that your join date indicates an Oct 09 entry to MS. Do I say you are posting well? Nope. Do I say you are effective? Nope. At this point I’ll let you try to show where stating that you are experienced conflicts with my opinion of your “Look busy with pointless lists” playstyle.

Now I am just trying pointless exercises that make me look busy. What changed? Are you implying Im scum here?

Actually, if you were exercising reading comprehension here you would realize I’m addressing Young’s play. But I’ll explain it for you.

Young went all fanboy over one of your posts. I noticed and inquired as to whether he (A) had picked you out as an experienced player with which to buddy, or (B) or was just trying a half-assed Appeal to Authority based on your join-date.

A. Implies that Young is scum and you are Town.
B. Implies that Young is making a stupid argument.

You sensitivity to even the notion that someone might be assessing you as scummy is noted.

But since we are exchanging questions answer the following that you ignored in 143 –

Why is Zang questioning Young trying to exacerbate a Town-Town argument between Young and Tasky?

Young has said Tasky’s playstyle is suspicious. Asking for elaboration isn’t scummy.
Why do you assume Young / Tasky is a Town – Town argument? You have a ‘read’ on Young per your lists but say nothing about Tasky.

Let me say, knowing what I know from the Dead thread - Congratulations Digi.

When results are offically posted you will be getting a Scummy Nod for your win.

Wow I did not see that coming ...

Digi I have to ask - why in the hell did you try to kill Kage when he had all but said he was going to be protected? A kill on Faraday or the Cop would have made much more sense. After all the good fortune you had in killing Time Travellers that one decision cost you the game.

Congratulations to the Mafia. You did a good job minimizing the mistakes / scumminess of early members (Tasky / Wolf and LMP's slip) and making good kills. Leaving the Town players you did, regardless of their power, made your job easier.

Town was pretty much doomed by making set-up assumptions. Let this be a lesson to everyone - 'Confirmed ability / role does not mean confirmed alignment'. The fact that LMP and his predecessors never produced a non-Town result and yet lived the entire game should have been a sign that something was up.

Ooba I love your games. Your flavor is top-notch and despite some mis-givings about the set-up your games are fairly unique and entertaining. Two comments -

1. The delayed opening of thread after Night is something I have seen in both games I played in with you and I think it hurts the overall game IMO. I understand schedules can be problematic but it has been a recurring issue. If you are overloaded between GMing and playing I would suggest lowering your play schedule while GMing.
2. I think the Mafia win condition was poorly written in the context of the Serial Killer and his powers. While I think it was probable that they would have won anyway his intact BP and roleblock meant that the remaining Town player could have stalemated the next day's lynch and Digi likely could have been the last man standing. In the future the "50% and nothing can change that" win condition that is becoming standard would be a better way to go.

Overall it was an enjoyable game to read. As usual I wish I could have played longer.
