Mini 148: Christmas Mafia! Game Over!

In Snowville Christmas has always been a time of joy and peace. However, this morning the body of Flying Dutchman, the Major, was found on the central square! All of you realize that if you don't take the right in your own hands Christmas will cease to exist! It's time to start to DO something with your suspcions, things can't continue like this.....

The Rules:

• Nights will last around 72 hours or so. If night choices come in earlier, it will dawn earlier.
  
• Days will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded.
  
• Votes must be in
  bold
  . If you do not bold your vote, it will still be counted, but try to avoid it.
  
• Please be attentive and unvote, before casting a new vote. I?d appreciate it.
  
• Convicting will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded.
  
• You may
  vote: no conviction
  . majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a conviction.
  
• The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
  
• Once your death scene has been posted, you're dead. No more relevant information posting after that.
  
• Don't edit/delete previously submitted posts.
  
• Don't quote any messages from me. You are liable to get mod-killed if you do.
  
• If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate, don't leave us hanging.
  
• I should post a vote count, ever so often, maybe every page or every alternate one. Please feel free to request one should you deem it necessary.
  
• If you have any questions, you can pm me or ask in the thread. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, and with the best explanation that I can. You can also pm me if you want to tell someone about your day, or you thought something another player wrote was funny, or just to say hi.
  
• I am always right, but not always accurate. If I've made a mistake, please tell me, for simple things as vote counts in thread, for more complicated or private things by PM.
  
• If I'm going to be unavailable for more than a day, I'll post that information.
  
• Most importantly...this is a game and we're here to have fun. Do your part.
  
• If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you, although if you're nice and sing Christmas songs in the thread, or make a funny post or something, there's a good chance I will prod you 24 hours before the deadline if you forget to submit a choice!

Everybody was exited. Everybody was anxiously waiting. Everybody was wondering what would be under the christmas tree the next morning. When they saw it they didn't like it.

You want to know what has happened? Well, let me begin at the beginning.

It was Christmas morning. The morning everybody in Snowville was waiting for! The first person to wake up was a small boy. He entered the living room, and turned the radio on. There was a happy song on the radio: "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town". The boy sang along the song and continued moving towards the Tree.

The boy had a smile on his face, and when he saw his father laying next to the Christmas Tree, his head wrapped in Christmas paper, he began to laugh: What a good joke! He walked to his dad.

Then he saw the blood next to the body. His smile disappeared immediately. His father was dead! But why had no-one defended him? The dog hadn't barked during the night, the boy was always immediately awake when that happened. Where was he? The boy started to search for the animal. Finally he saw him behind the couch! But he wasn't moving either.........

Soon everybody knew about the murders. They knew they had to start lynching each other to survive. They had to fight for their lives and Christmas. It was time to form a majority.....

I think that's a good opening. Really great flavor. Sounds real. Although the kid could've noticed a bit earlier while he was singing along.

Why are we obsessing over the song? Maybe FD was just listening to the song on the radio himself while posting the morbid death scenes.
