Ok when you lay out all of those reasons, I can see where you're coming from on that vote. My issue now is this: why didn't you mention all of that when you put down the vote and just voted him on the RP complaining? The way it came across to me at the time was like you were cherry picking just one aspect of his play and attacking him on that. Also, my impression of Benmage's meta is very different but I'd rather talk about this later.

The gist of what I said is still the same though. I said he was doing nothing but rp complaining. All I've done in that post is explained it better. I'd also rather talk about if you agree with those reasons then continue to talk about me, as subject which doesn't interest me.

Why do you always flirt with my other heads? As far as me being able to read you though, I've been pretty wrong before and read you as strong town when you were scum in ADwD. Other head thought your reads seemed shallow. I don't mind that kind of thing in first posts, especially considering that I'm a bit of a slow starter and have shallow early reads. I didn't see the point of the vote on Benmage as being a serious vote since it seemed mostly because you're annoyed that he's annoyed with rp. And the griping seemed a little over the top as I couldn't tell if you were actually annoyed or trying to fake town annoyance. The other thing that bothered me was the question posed to Arthur in Post 86 as it felt off. You've never really respected Arthur's opinion before and have expressed irritation with him, so appealing to him seemed fishy.

Because they are coming between us. I figure that having seen how I both flail as town and pretend to be really adorable as scum you would have to be able to see the difference by now. If I were just annoyed with annoyance I would have yelled at Benmage instead of voting him. As for Arthur, I appreciate people who get into character. Maybe I like him better as a crack addict. When it comes to canvassing for support I'm not picky as long as they vote for my scum.

I've never seen scum successfully hide behind Roleplaying. I've rarely seen scum be motivated enough to try in the first place. Making up reads + trying to make them sound in character = :effort: More people should be forced to keep up stupid rp gimmicks just to see if they can keep it up.

Re: Burden of Proficiency: I wasn't asking for Benmage to vig one of the scum in the middle of Day 1 again. I was pointing out i didn't think he was being as involved as he usually is. More like the Burden of Be Yourself. He feels like he's trawling right now (not to be mistaken with trolling).

That's not what I said. It's a waste of time to comment on people who are obviously considered town by a majority of people. Cerulean is town, in other news grass is green. If you thought they were scummy it would be worth commenting on. If you have an unusual townread it would be worth commenting on. Ironic or not, I don't really like any of the other hydras. TGAH I have already gone into and they are a strong scum read of mine. But the other two Plessiezarus and Cerulean both feel fake when I read their posts. It's more of a gut feeling too right now, I will have to recheck ISOs but something is bubbling there. I'm pretty sure I read Cerulean defending Plees from Camn too which makes me urk. But I will look back again later.

I remember that Zach has a meta of phoning it in on scum games because he hates them. Incidentally, Cerulean asked where Zach was and now you think they are fake for poor reasons. I'm half asleep and really not giving this game the credit it deserves right now, but at least I peeked in when my name came up. Just peeking I can see that Dan is being vvoted by a goofball and someone I think is scummy and.. I'm assuming McStab replaced out because everyone hated him and Zdenek didn' read the game before taking up the replacement.

I'm pretty sure Dan would town-read me either way though because he knows I wouldn't let him get away with it in this game :p But you shouldn't be suspicious of him for coming into the game and saying what he saw while he was reading it. Zdenek's I don't see any particular reason to disbelieve in and of itself. It's confirmable so let him confirm it.
ActionDan's claim itself I don't have a problem with; what worried me a little was his apparent determination to use his claim to sink someone else's. Maybe it's because I'm coming to this a couple of days late and seeing it disconnected from the flow of emotions but the impression I got was more that he was looking for swift blood rather than considering it very carefully. It is worth giving him at least a night to see what happens with his power, though, and who becomes involved in it.

If you had almost the same role as someone who claimed, wouldn't you be going for 'swift blood' instead of considering it carefully? That's a really bad reason to make him sound suspicious.

Bleh consolidation call it scummy because I don't remember TGAH's post at all but I'll take that over Dan any day. (Yes I recall I wrote something about them in the past that I don't remember now)

He didn't almost have the same role as someone who claimed, though. When I've been town and thought I might need to counterclaim someone, I've always wanted to be sure I'm not screwing my faction over by outing myself unnecessarily. Any double-checking or reading over at all would have made it clear that they weren't claiming the same role.

It's not exactly the same, but neighbourizor and masonizor are really, really close to the same thing.

I am really thankful I was nightkilled to be honest, because my free time took a hit right around then. Maybe it was just a bad mmonth for everyone, with all the distractedness.
