"Gentlemen," greeted NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. "Take a seat."
As the nine NFL owners filed into the room, Goodell clasped his hands behind his back. As soon the last of the nine filed into a chair, he continued.
"As you're no doubt aware, the Players' Union, a few years back, filed a suit against the league, claiming that certain owners colluded with each other during the 2010 season to impose an artificial salary cap, thereby shaving off, oh I don't know, around a billion dollars in player salaries. The suit was thrown out, but I've received a little tip that perhaps the courts might just have gotten it wrong that day.
"Now hey, far be it for me to get all up in arms about shaving a little cream off the top," Goodell said with a chuckle. A couple of the others allowed nervous ghosts of smiles to creep onto their faces.
Goodell's look turned cold again. "But you forgot our little arrangement, didn't you?" Goodell said to no one in particular. "Ol' uncle Rog' was not let in on this little scheme. And I'm afraid I just can't abide such a lapse in judgment." His look turned predatory. "

"So here's what we're gonna do." Goodell looked around the room. "

are going to tell me who's behind all this. Maybe I already know. Maybe I don't. If you guys manage to come to the correct conclusion, I'll make sure that everything is put right. But if you don't..."
He shrugged. "Well,

Gameplay

A lynch is achieved when half plus one of the current number of living players are voting for the same player. If this does not occur by deadline, a No Lynch will occur -- there is no plurality lynch in this game.
Twilight is the time between the 'hammer' vote being cast and the beginning of the night phase. All living players, including the most recent lynchee, may talk during this time.
Players' alignments will be revealed on death.
When killed, a player may make one informationless 'bah' post at the beginning of the next day phase and must be silent thereon until the conclusion of the game.
Please submit all night actions either via <b> tags in your quicktopic if you have one, or by PM if you do not.
If you have a night action and do not submit one, you will not take an action. I will not resolve your action on a random person.

Alignment distribution is guaranteed to be random, determined with the aid of random.org. Role distribution was determined after Alignment distribution.
Deadlines
Days will be exactly two weeks long. Extensions may be granted at my discretion for what I feel are extenuating circumstances.
Nights will be exactly two days (48 hours) long.
Players will be prodded after 48 hours of inactivity during the day, excepting V/LA circumstances.
Failure to pick up a prod in 24 hours will result in replacement. Asking for replacement will result in replacement.

This game is a UPick! Each of you represents one of 32 possible NFL Teams. Alignment has nothing to do with conference, division, or how much I happen to like that team -- it is simply random.
This game is either

or
6v2v1
If the game is 6v2v1, A 1v1 situation at the end of the game is resolved by Third Party > Mafia > Town.
2 town vs 1 mafia vs 1 third party is not the end of the game.
1 town vs 1 mafia vs 1 third party is not the end of the game.
2 mafia vs 2 non-mafia ends in a mafia win.
