Voting, Deadlines, & Lynches

Votes must be

or in VOTE: tags to count. Unvotes are not required. Any sort of abbreviation is fine as long as I can tell who you are voting.

Deadlines are 2-week day phases and 48-hour night phases. Extensions can be granted for extraneous circumstances, like holidays and such.

You are expected to post at least once every 48 hours. If prodded, you have 24 hours to respond before I start looking for a replacement. 3 prods before I force replace.

Lynch is reached by a majority vote. No lynch by 50%. Talking in twilight is allowed.

Beep. . . . Beep into heavy eyelids. The Kid blinks to see the comics better. Inside a dusty store, sunlight panels from the door and windows. He buys several limited-edition comics on display at the counter before laying them all in a neat line in the center aisle, a slight eenie-meenie-miney-mo routine deciding the distribution.

Before the store owners guess the schtick, he's got out a bottle of glue and a pair of scissor, and is cutting up those precious comics. The Kid starts piecing together his own story, holding the original characters ransom until a proper ending can be found in the mess he's created:

HERO and VILLAIN meet again and again and again, welts growing, deep cuts sure to leave scars. This city has gone through a blender. Glass blankets the roads from the numerous skyscrapers. HERO wins out in the end, holding VILLAIN by the throat over the edge of the tallest building, ready for the finality.

Wait! Don't kill me. Don't I have rights? Sure I wear this mask but I'm still human underneath too. Don't I deserve a trial of some sorts? Tell my side. Maybe I'm the one that needs saving.

Also, reposting the question I had asked Catboi: If you had a choice, would you rather survive later in the game and use PoE to help find scum and see to it that your scumspects are lynched, or would you rather leave early and take a scumspect with you?

I didn't see anything outside of RVS, which is terribly unfortunate. Does anyone have anything they want to recap?

There is absolutely no benefit to me dying early, I'm not sure why you would ask this. I'm likely to die eventually, so my goal is to be as open as possible with my thoughts (something I don't usually do) and give as much input as possible while I can.

Also, given that we're on something of a time limit here, I'm going to stress the importance of activity on this day - people are going to need to contribute often because realistically we should be deciding on a lynch before I die, if someone is inactive they can drag the whole day down with them so please if you're town this game be active

catboi's power is pretty useful if used correctly, so let's use it correctly. We lynch before 7 days run out to make sure he stays alive, but we lynch as close to that deadline as possible, and only after we've had a full week of discussion. (So I'd rather if no one put jon at L-1 just yet.. One for the money, two for the show, etc.)

I love all these heartfelt arguments so far. We need to get a concensus on a lynch fairly quickly to keep our IC alive. If not catboi becomes a one shot vig after dying. Vigs are notorious for missing scum. I don't have any experience with catboi, so I'd rather keep him around for awhile.

I don't like this for a few reasons. If you think we need to get a consensus fairly quickly, why did you make no effort in this post to move us in that direction? Like, you mention the heartfelt arguments, but don't comment on any of them?

Like 10-1 that either jon or choo-choo is scum. Super unlikely they both are together though.
