Rando I'm hung up on that. First thought was that he gets a chance to mislynch me based on just that claim and then wifom out of it later. It's risky though, and I've been trying to work out whether there's reward worth the risk. Doesn't really seem like it actually. Maybe I'm reading his tone wrong and it's coming from a place of "excited that my CC will catch 'scum'" confidence. Let me get this straight- you think that if there are 2 miller claims, the second claim is usually true, and if the first claim is true then the second claim is still probably true?

I never said anything about the first claim being true, you are fabricating my statement. If, assuming the millers are one town and one scum, and you lynch both, the scum player has much more to lose because there are always fewer scum players than town players. If the scum player was the second player, the optimal move would be not to counterclaim, and you would stand a better chance at long term survival.

I'm not a fan at all of how TIAM is trying to pin Tarkus - I townread Tarkus, and while I don't know the odds of two millers I think that TIAM only has the single track argument to pin Tarkus.
If we assume his argument is true them it's perfect for a scum to hide by 2nd claiming miller as by the logic they'd be effectively clearing themselves, as such I cannot take that logic without a bit more reason as to why scum wouldn't engineer the situation to appear clean.

It just doesn't happen. The simplest explanation is that it's a mistake that backfired, rather than something astronomical in the game setup.
