Background:
The 11 players in this game are all research scientists deep in the jungles of Malaiseya. Everything was going fine until someone sabotagued the generators, slashed the tires of all the jeeps, and, and this is the worst of it, released a plague into the compound! Everyone else is infected, dead, or both, and the 11 of you have holed up in relative safety, if such a thing is possible, in one of the bunkers. There's enough food and water to last a few months, and you are sure help will be on it's way.
But will it be needed by the time it gets here?
Mechanics:
This game is a mix of several games. Day one will begin with players nominating a 'guinea pig' to test the contents of a strange looking vial. (Nobody knows it yet, but the vial is filled with a Contagious Disease!!)
The player lynched Day One will become infected*. That player will have precisely three weeks* to remain alive in the game. Within those three weeks, at any time, that player may choose to
Infect
a second player*. Infecting another player brings the game to 'twilight mode', until the Mod (me) confirms A) the infection of the second player* and B) the identity of the previously infected player*, who dies at that point* and is no longer in the game (so sad!).
With a new player infected, the cycle begins again*, and so on until the bad guys win or are defeated.
FAQ:
Q. "What if an infected player chooses not to vote in their three week time span?"
-
Shanba
A. Good question, Shanba! I'm glad to see they are allowing female reporters in the press corps. If the unlikely event that a player does not infect another player in the requisite amount of time, that player will still die, and there will be another player infected. The manner in which the second player will be 'chosen' can not, I'm sorry to say, be disclosed at this time.
Q. "You mention twilight, but it doesn't appear that there is ever a 'night phase'. Can you explain that?"
-
Guardian
A. You are obstute and abservant, as always, Guardian. You seem to not have noticed you are not in this game, though. Tsk. To answer your question, there is, indeed, no night phase. That means, of course, that there are no night actions. That means that, if there are any actions, they will take place during the day, or during twilight.
Q. "But I'm Mafia!! I mean... Mason! How am I supposed to talk with my partner??"
-
Now A Ranger
A. I didn't even realize you were still part of this site, NAR. Your determination to be part of the action is commendable. If there are mafiates, masons, cultists, or any other 'groups' whose players might normally be allowed to communicate with each other at night, those groups will be allowed to talk, privately, at any time.
Q. "Hmm. I'm running the numbers, and it looks like the mafia would automatically win in a lynch or lose situation!"
-
Mastermind of Sin
A. This is an incorrect statement, but you shouldn't be judged for that.
Q. "So if I get infected on Day 1 and choose, say, Guardian to also be infected, do the other players get to find out who I picked? Is it a mystery to them until he keels over dead?
-
Haschel Cedricson
A. This is TWO questions, which is awfully presumptuous of you. The infected player will *always* know they are infected.
Q. "Word has it that Camp Zibble has ceased all radio communications. Is there any merit to that rumor?
-
Anonymous Reporter about to Disappear
A. It looks like I'm out of time for questions. Thank you, everyone, have a nice day!
Do you have a question? Do you want your name to be in the first post, but forgot to /in for the game? Ask below! I'll be sure to delete it for you later.

"WE HAVE TO GET TO SAFETY!"
Sir Tornado said, as screams and gunshots are heard from the Mess Hall. Off to the right, Adel and SpectrumVoid wrestled on the ground, both of them covered in hideous boils. An arm reached from the burning wreckage of a wrecked Jeep - other bodies lay mangled inside.
The infected were everywhere. It had started off small, only that morning. PetroleumJelly and PookytheMagicalBear were the first casualties - clean up crew moving to clean up a mess in the Research Lab. Only half na hour later, they had shown bizarre, horrible symptoms. And then, those they had encountered also began to show it. Whatever it was, it was dangerous, and it moved quickly. By noon the camp was in a panic, which only further spread the disease.
Civilians were running madly out into the jungle, to be killed by the exotic foliage there. Primate started taking pot shots from on top of buildings, screaming "ZOMBIES ZOMBIES ALL OF YOU ZOMBIES" until he too was shot by a guard.
In the final hour, 11 of you managed to hide in a storage shed off to the side of camp. The doors are tightly locked, and the walls made of thick reinforced concrete. It should be safe from those outside, but for how long?
Over the small radio someone thought to bring, the camp commander addresses the small crew. "These are grave times, my friends", he states, with drawling authority. "I myself am holed up near the communications bunker. There's three of us here, and we should be all okay. Listen..." His voice hitches, for a bit, before he continues. "This disease... whatever it is... well, we did a sweep of the research labs shortly before Everything went to hell. Someone wrecked the computers... and the information for that project...well it was missing. We got a partial print out of a Vaccine, though. It looks like someone... or someones... sabotaged the computers, printed out the plans on how to make a CURE for the thing... and left us all in the shitter. We think... we think that the person or people who did that is holed up in your bunker. Try to find them. And make them pay. Get the plans and get back to us. If we can make the vaccine in time, maybe we can convince NATO to send in a rescue chopper. And ... if you can find out who released this virus in the first place.... let us know, As soon.. as possible. Good luck. Keep in touch." *click*
A dreadful silence followed, where the eleven 'survivors' of the outbreak stared at each other with new suspicion.
And then, to everyone's horror, a small sound is heard.
*cough*
