@Whichever team I've just joined: You are doomed! I have come in to wreak havoc and have fun. Winning isn't even my top priority, although I certainly won't be gamethrowing. In short, I'm going to try to play similar to how our beloved co-mod would. (and yes, FB is a good fellow <3 )

OK. Starting my catch up. I will put a video in each post, I think. There's so many songs I would like to share.
FAIR WARNING: NONE OF THESE VIDEOS IS A CRUMB. They're just generally anti-war/anti-violence songs that I like. For your convenience; they will be spoilered.
Spoiler:
By the end of page 1 I have a TR on Dunn. Call it a tone read, or call it gut. I don't care.

As always; I struggle to comprehend where you come up with your logic. At least I'm used to your play being eccentric (coming from someone like me I dunno if you should take this as a compliment or a sign to worry about your mental health)In post 27, Bambi Jay wrote:I was mainly pointing out if there was any negative utility town, that if we lynch them now while letting way more people have a shot of getting serum was a good idea.
And it was less encouraging strong roles to vote, more... Telling VTs to maybe let someone else hammer or something.

This isn't a song that belongs to the anti-anything category (it may actually belong to anti-sanity)
It's just how I read Bambi by the end of page 2

Yes, 2 from being on the lynch wagon and 2 from the flip, which means a scum self-hammer makes it likely most/all theirIn post 50, CloudKicker wrote:I thought being on a scum lynch was +4 overallserum consuming partnersare on the wagon already. If scum self-hammer in this case it will be to deny a townie 2 "precious" serum units (precious is supposed to be sarcasm here because not all roles require serum). Otherwise, scum would rather a scum partner to hammer to get the additional 2 units.
So why are more worried about serum and who gets it than actually finding out who is scum and lynching them?

Site meta has changed drastically on that front. You no longer claim Masons with someone. I've read and reread this more than once, and I can't help but still wonder what your role PM tells you. You are referring to the sample role PM rather than your own, and you are not certain The Rebels is the flavour term for the town. Are you or are you not aligned with The Rebels? In post 106, Rautherdir wrote:They're probably scum, considering the flavor of this game. Though they were the town of the previous game...
We don't know anything else at the moment. The Rebels are probably town, and they're revealed in the Sample Role PM to use the color green, but it says Sample Role PM and not Sample Town Role PM. While their Win condition is seemingly standard for town it's possible it will change as new information is revealed.

I think what everybody's exclaiming about is why "scum" would distant themselves from "town" chainsawing them? It sounds reversed to me, as I would expect TOWN to disassociate themselves from someone they don't trust, while scum would welcome such associative to set up "not-p" for a lynch if they ever get flipped first, or use "not-p"'s read on them as a supportive lead to their innocence if that person flipped first. In post 209, CloudKicker wrote:Open- is a suffix used in the mefia culture when something is done openly aka w/ no regard to hide one’s intention.

Chaisawing is a term used in the mefia culture when someone defend a slot by voting whoever voted that specific slot, its like a defense but by attacking another slot.

I think that's bullshit, objectively, but I'm going to assume it for the sake of this exercise.
Let's say there's 4 scum and his odds of having correctly pinned me are 5/18.
On the other hand, his odds of being wrong on me are 13/18and based on my town record over the past year we have lynched scum D1 in 10/16 of those games
130/288 is significantly higher than 5/18 so even if he is above average at reading me and scumreads me (which he's not) it's still objectively correct to sheep me.
@RC: So, 19 players in the game.. Wheme is the one doing the read so 18 slots for him to read. Assuming 4 scums should have been 4/18 and assuming a wrong read should have been 14/18. How come you said 4 scums but did the math based on 5?

I've got a confession to make: Today I have been skimming hard. This game's interactions are so boring I lose concentration while in the middle of a single-sentence post. I'll "pretend" to be all caught up in an hour or so, but I may have missed a couple of key elements along the way.

My point isthe only time we played together I correctly pegged you as scum, so "mot understanding your play" is a lame excuse to shrug off a scum read on you by me.

@unwed: Does your name mean you're celibate, divorced, or just too playful not to settle down?
JUST KIDDING!
@unwnd: What's your read on CK, and -if at all possible- can you type -at least- two sentences for reasoning behind that read?

OK. So how the freak was I supposed to know that?In post 1545, Joey_ wrote:I am Joey_, we played 2 Civs and other larges
And the fact that you're Joey doesn't change the fact that you're dishing for sensitive info that could potentially be used by scum to recognize certain town roles. I smell shit I will call shit.
Can you explain WHY you want corporation claims?

You assumed, eh? Well, I assumed your call for a corporations claim benefits scum somehow. In post 1546, CloudKicker wrote:You said it was the reason you fosed me, then you claimed you outed why you scumread me, i assumed it was the anti-town reason aka implying you have information that corporations should not be outed

OK. That's one possibility. Do you think it wise for "given name" to out that in public? Do you think is wise for them to hint it? Or do you think it better for someone who controls a town utility (of that's a town utility at all) to keep it undercover and try to observe and identify their target(s) without drawing attention to it?In post 1548, Bambi Jay wrote:Probably something to do with an event, is my guess.
Now I know someone may come back at me with "but that applies to scum too", and I will respond by saying ONE town person is not equivalent to a scum TEAM in that matter. Even if successful (in finding what they're looking for) the Townie could be shot, RB'd or have their otherwise messed with. Scum can still use the info even if said person got lynched. If I was scum and in need for such info to be utilized by one single role in my faction I would havesomeone elsefishing for it, so even if that other person gets caught the info is still useful to my team.

OK. So Kat has unwnd at the bottom her read list but isn't voting them? That's a bit odd, but I have an idea she's being an idealist. I -on the other hand- don't think I should be, because you don't know ho's going to vote there next.
VOTE: unwnd
