Rules;

1 - Don't post mod PMs, or fake mod PMs. A giant bolt of lightning will strike you down.
2 - If you want to take issure with anything more complex than a votecount error I've made, do it by PM, NOT inthread.
3 - Votes should be bolded. I don't require unvotes.
4 - This is a kingmaker setup - a King, chosen by the player with the Kingmaker role at night and announced at the start of each day will choose the lynch each day. If the Kingmaker dies the payers will start lynching as normal (requiring over 50% majority to lynch).
5 - Death, a bah! post is allowed, but don't post game relevant info.
6 - Never edit or delete any posts.
7 - Bold prod requests and put them in

red

. I will only prod players if a prod is requested, and I will replace players if they do not respond to a prod within 48 hours.
8 - Tell us if you're going to be away for more than 24 hours.
9 - 2 week dealines on each day, 72 hours each night. May be extended if a request is made or I'm away.
10 -Don't be a jerk. As god, I have a special hell reserved for jerks.
And finally;
11 - I am the mod. My role Pm which I sent myself gives me unlimited NKs and Daykills, I'm bulletproof, lynchproof, I know your alignment, your address and where your children go to school. You must fear and worship me, and abide by the above rules.
12 - Dead Rikimaru is the backup mod. If I am away for any period of time he gets my role PM, complete with NKs. He's also a more awesome person than me, so cower and stuff before him too.
13 - My colour is green. Don't post in green please.

Actually, I've been trying to slim down the posts in my last few games. Feeling chatty today though, so we'll have to wait and see if I succeed.

Anyway... this being my first time playing a kingmaker game, I have some questions about how things work. I don't mind if the mod answers these, but since some address possible set-ups, my actual intent is to direct them at other players who have experience with kingmaker.

1. I understand that our votes are basically FoSes so long as the kingmaker/king is alive, but are they tallied by the mod anyway?
   
2. What happens if the kingmaker and the nobles choose the same target at night?
   
3. Is the kingmaker always protown?
   
4. Are there usually other roles besides the kingmaker and scum or is this more likely to be semi-mountainous?
   
5. Whom (if any) among you has played this type of game before?

I'm a darling. I just don't like excessive swearing. Keep that aside and we could be bestest buddies.

I also appreciate well reasoned out...thought out posts...rather than multiple ones with big quote boxes that come out all scattered...though I won't hate you for this.

To answer your question - Kingmaker is not anti town. Always pro town.
However...with him not knowing anything about anyone else...there is always a chance that scum might become king.
On the other hand, most Kingmaker rules disallow repetitive Kingships...so no problems.

Also...slightly extended away...will catch up on this in a day or so.
