I'm a mason JoaT.

My partner is a mason bodyguard.

The reason I am claiming is because we agree that their flip when I am targeted will confirm me and buy me an extra day, and we expect that I will not be the n1 target as scum typically avoids the "obvious" kill in order to prevent being busted by investigatives or preempted by protectives.

Yes, what you described is exactly why I think it's a townie reaction. A lot of SEs are kinda predictable in newbie games, at least from what I've noticed. Arrogant/cocky/aggressive SEs have a town tell where they either get sweaty and try to solo solve the game, or they recognize they're getting too sweaty for a newbie game and back off. If they're scum, they're just manipulative because they believe they can easily trick newbies (which they actually easily can).

Nancy here seems to fit the mold for the type of SE I'm describing. If she were scum she wouldn't continue to be hostile to you while backing off, or reiterate how frustrated she is and specifically explain why she's frustrated. It could be AtE admittedly, which is why she isn't confirmed town for me. But I don't see how continuing to push the issue here could sort her further or progress the game in any way.

tldr; this is manly based on james interactions with clark nd roden (the post that nancy pointed out of james) i noticed it from that and started quick skimming jame's iso and seeing their reads.

Either way, we've already been over this. For me to be scum I'd have to have hard bussed Blurry/James before the replacement even came in. Psyche had scum read Blurry first, but the wagon didn't start until I repeatedly kept bringing attention to Blurry and soft accused Val of trying to divert attention by arguing with Nancy. Even when James subbed in, I kept my vote on his slot and continued to pressure him.

It's not like I couldn't pivot out to another wagon either. Nancy had multiple people going after her and I'd already stated that I didn't trust Val's intentions at the time. If I was scum, all I'd have to do is completely ignore Blurry and help Val put pressure on Nancy. Literally all I'd have to do is shut up and James would likely still be in the game.

If you don't believe me, go look back at what happened. It starts around page 10 I believe. I specifically say that I think the early wagon on you was bad and that we should look more at Blurry.

I play like this as town because I rely more on logic than vibes. I genuinely have trouble reading interactions and I'm not good at catching lies/reading intentions. But I'm fairly competent at catching people when it comes to their reactions.

In our newbie game I knew you were town and town locked you once I figured out your playstyle, and you almost read me correctly multiple times but our playstyles clashed too much. So first up, I skimmed up and a couple overall things to be mentioning.

number 1, the most important. I am hard town reading guillo. why is that? I have very valid reasoning actually and guillo is still town despite him scum reading me. you may ask why is that? I am 100% known for tunneling guillo in games. I admit to that and typically that is what I do. the reason is simply. he doesnt cooperate as town and that frustrates town me. but the last game guillo was in with me, he was scum and let me tell you the difference was drastic. it was like he went from a raging bull to a proper gentleman asking you for a dance. I am telling you the difference is that STARK. guillo as town won't give two shits before slamming your head into the pavement if he dislikes your read on him. what is cooperation? what is town block? none of that exists in his eyes

but scum guillo cares SO MUCH. he will reply extremely calmly to EVERY post you make. he will tell you "no sweetheart im not scum listen to my beautiful voice you know its not me but it might be X or Y. See they look scary bad go go!" he will try so hard to get you off him and in the nicest way in the world. I caught him immediately and was like oh fuck so this is what his scum game looks like. That is why the moment I saw him get angry in this game, I was willing to say with 100% certainty that he is town. I promise that I am not wrong here. Anyone can meta guillo. His scum and town game are NIGHT AND DAY. im not even exaggerating.

number 2, VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE. Lukewarm might be scum. Im back to that read. I understand that mom doesnt agree with me but his progression on me I dont like. A little bit of meta that is not that reliable but my main reason im second guessing mom right now is that Lukewarm's reads in games are typically pretty good. From my past games with him, I believe his reads are normally almost completely accurate with his only mistakes being due to personal bias. his mistakes in reads are almost always because the person is scum reading him. But we have not SRed him in a while here so I dont see a valid reason for him to SR me here especially after just getting out of a game with a three headed hydra of me, mom and flea. We got our asses tunneled to hell and back day one as town two shot mason vig. I dont see why he would be so eager to jump on us even if only off of that.

I'm noticing a pattern that every time I get scum read, afterwards it's always scum trying to stick up for me for town points and for a potential pocket lol. Also every time I feel bad about wanting to suspect someone, it's because they were scum trying to manipulate me.

I really hate the idea of wagoning Nora just because she isn't tunneling people against all reason, and it's possible because she's using a hydra and has a second opinion to bounce off of that she's reeled herself back this game. essentially, when I get scum read, I feel like im doing something wrong. and my play works very heavily off of first impressions and just the vibes I give off in general.
when im scum read, I feel like im doing something wrong and I will exaggerate my emotions in hopes of it looking towny. that almost always backfires however if I were scum, I would be doing that subtly starting from the very beginning.
I have good control over my emotions as scum because I know what I need to do to win the game. I know I need certain b=people in my pocket and certain people dead. I have a clear goal and destination in mind. I will stick to that.

but as town, I get lost and when people dont townread me, in a way, I feel like I am legitimately scum. I hate the red alignment so much that I get ... flashbacks, if you will, as town. especially after getting stomped on my cabd in three games, it took a huge chunk out of my confidence in my play as both alignments(I was stomped on my cabd two times as scum. one time as town)

and in general, I hate being scum so much that I expect to be scum read as scum. and in a way, you could say I find it shameful to be scum read as town.

The Robert wagon dismantled just as quickly as it built but they sat at L-1 long enough for the opportunistic hidden scum vote to quickly hammer him but it never happened.

As robert dismantled, the wagon quickly went back to kyuko.

The entire time, people were hyper aware of roberts wagon and the state of it, but the same thing wasn't given kyuko given guillotinas accidental hammer.

Its also important to note that nearly yhe entire time, Rosen never had Robert as a town read but felt the need to chainsaw his wagon, rather blatantly I might add, the entire time it was a thing.

Droo is absolutely 1000% a scum ability this game and the fact that it didn't hammer Robert yesterday points further in that direction.

Robert is all why me fry me and while, yes the wagon built up fast with alot of unexplained votes there are very important points that need to be brought up.

T3 and kyuko were being wagoned early d1

Robert became the counter wagon TO kyuko.

The Robert wagon dismantled just as quickly as it built but they sat at L-1 long enough for the opportunistic hidden scum vote to quickly hammer him but it never happened.

As robert dismantled, the wagon quickly went back to kyuko.

The entire time, people were hyper aware of roberts wagon and the state of it, but the same thing wasn't given kyuko given guillotinas accidental hammer.

Its also important to note that nearly yhe entire time, Rosen never had Robert as a town read but felt the need to chainsaw his wagon, rather blatantly I might add, the entire time it was a thing.

post 301 is hella performative. Like, oh no, I am concerned that a scum read is voting with me. Checks his scum reads, and he has 6 people listed as scummier then the person in question. Even if you make the correction of moving RMH just bellow the null line, it is still a silly stance for town to take, and seems much more like scum trying to appear paranoid of their reads.

Theoretically, 305 could have been a distancing attempt by a teammate that noticed a misstep.

Along with these two cases, both players in question are displaying caught for the wrong reasons.

We also have a DV that is very likely a scum role which voted Dweelee.

The debate around that is is Dweelee town, or is it scum wifom, considering the vote placed him at E3.

The scum DV is named DROOO and it remained on Dweelee very briefly and did not come back until recently when it was parked on Robert.

Notably it came back when House brought up his concerns with T3
