-Day 1 will last for 14 days and all further days will last for 10 days, with night phases lasting 48 hours.
-Everyone can agree to a Fast Night to end the night earlier.
-Do not post in the game thread or any private topics following your death, with the exception of the dead thread. You may post a single contentless "Bah!" post however.
-If you have the ability to edit your posts, do not do so.
-My decisions are final. If I feel you are violating any of the rules, I will take the appropriate action.
-Speculating about why people replaced out is considered angleshooting and is discouraged.
-Try to spoiler animated GIFs and videos. Using images or videos as "serious" content is discouraged.
-Do not use the L-word. Alternatives include eliminate, exile, and execute. See this post for the mafiascum mod team's stance on the L-word.
-As an extension to the previous rule, the terms LyLo and MyLo are discouraged. Alternatives include ELo/MeLo and LiLo/MiLo.
-As a general principle, whenever moderator action is required I will attempt to make the decision that has the least impact on the natural flow of gameplay. For example, force replacing instead of modkilling whenever possible.

Voting
-All votes and unvotes must be in
bold
or in VOTE: vote tags, with vote tags being preferable.
-Votes in spoilers and quotes will not be counted.
-Abbreviations and nicknames are acceptable, as long as I can understand them.
-Exiles will occur when a majority (>50%) is reached. If no majority is reached before deadline, the day will end in a no elimination.
-Voting to end the day in a no-exile requires only 50% of players, not >50%.
-Once a hammer has occurred, the game is in "twilight". Discussion may continue until I lock the thread but no further votes or unvotes will be counted.
Activity
-You are expected to make at least one game-relevant post every 40 hours. Players who go 40 hours without posting will be prodded.
-If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to post in-thread. If you do not respond within 24 hours, you will be replaced. Additionally, if I have to prod you 3 or more times, you will be replaced at my own discretion.
-Abuse of prod dodges will result in you being replaced at my own discretion.
-If you are going to be V/LA, please announce it in thread or PM me. If your V/LA will last 7 days or longer I may be forced to replace you. You may declare periodic V/LA (e.g. weekend V/LA).
-If you do not send me an action for the night, I will assume that you are not taking one.
Game Notes
-This is a Deck of Astral Roles game using the Expanded Universe. All cards come from that thread. Some of these cards may pull from outside the Deck of Astral Roles.
-Everyone receives three cards; one for alignment, one for role, and the other to publically discard.
-Aliens not only receive a 1-shot factional kill, but also a 1-shot "alien tech" factional invention.
-Cult picks a Cult Leader during pregame. The Cult Leader will flip as such and adds to the existing role. The Cult Leader may not recruit more than 25% of the playerlist at one time, that means Cult Leaders may not attempt to recruit if at least 3 Cultists are alive.
-All Private Topics have daytalk enabled, unless a specific role overrides this.
-You may request a personal PT/notes PT. Discord Servers may be requested in lieu of personal PTs/notes PTs/hydra PTs. Discord Servers may not be requested in lieu of game PTs.
-Scum know each other's roles and may submit actions via PT.
-Everyone has inherent multitasking, unless a specific role overrides this. (they may use a personal and a factional action. Using multiple personal actions requires the Multitasking modifier)
-Scumteams are informed fully, they know each other's roles and may submit actions via PT.
-The game be picked Micc-style. That is, everyone needs to pick cards for three different games, and the moderator picks the most balanced out of the three games and informs the players of the chosen game.
-The setup is guaranteed to contain at least 2 players aligned with one scumteam and more Town than scum. If it does not for any of the three games, the setup will be picked from a mash of all three games and the moderator will state this.
-Duplicates are not rerolled.
-Groupscum with alive partners can't have their alignment changed by default. Alignment changes will fail by default if either the target or performer die that Night.
-Third Party wins do not end the game by default.

• You have factional Multitasking. You may use all of your factional abilities each Day.
• Each day, The Specters have a factional “Sleep Paralysis” ability that they can target a player that is alive with. Players under sleep paralysis cannot perform any night actions, they cannot communicate in PTs that night and they are informed of what types actions they are targeted by (excluding those from specters). If a player is killed while under “Sleep Paralysis”, their soul is collected by the Specter faction, joining them in the graveyard.
• Each day, You have the factional vote action. You can select a player to have an extra vote for that day. This vote is not announced that is coming from your faction.
• Specters can never perform kill actions.
• If a Specter is targeted by a player with an ability to interact with the dead or are resurrected by living players, the entire faction loses the game.
