@rb idk
the duel has taken a lot of attention away so I can't actually form scum-reads
i want to say Ircher is scum but I can't justify that to myself. I think he's probably either town or some sort of survivor with an wincon that involves dueling (i forget if there are 3rd parties here)
Creature is probably town
you are probably town
Spiffeh's a little sus, mostly because he hasn't posted much substance and I theorize he might be trying to buddy up with some of the more exasperated players in the game

No, but some roles may interact with the duel mechanic.In post 336, Toogeloo wrote:That doesn't really answer the question though. Is there a lynch too? Like after the duel? Is there any point to not dueling every day? Can we do multiple duels in a day and then a lynch.
I'm guessing I'm just confused about the difference or why someone should be autolynched if they duel me.
Also, tbh, I'm still scumreading Toogeloo.The Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic states that every integer greater than one can be expressed as a unique (up to ordering) product of primes.- rb

the day ends after the person in the duel diesIn post 336, Toogeloo wrote:That doesn't really answer the question though. Is there a lynch too? Like after the duel? Is there any point to not dueling every day? Can we do multiple duels in a day and then a lynch.

then it's instant night, then it's the next day
if there's a duel, it essentially becomes the lynch of that day. so no there is no lynch after the duel- rb

duels only occur if someone instigates a duelIn post 343, Toogeloo wrote:I guess the simple question is... Is there even a need to lynch in the game? Early votes suggested to me that there was. Not having a lynch, and making us vote for people want alive instead of dead seems overly confusing.
it's really something that should be done sparingly, when you're really certain someone is scum and that you'll win the duel but you just can't get them lynched. using it regularly is just bad bc it essentially removes all actual relevant discussion- rb

I know It's not exactly 50/50 (Did you see the starwars meme you're c3po nobody wants to be c3po) but it doesn't change any fact his a null read to me so it may as well be 50/50. Trying to determine if you are scum trying to shade or one of those annoying people who take everything figuratively. Null>Town read who did a vi everytime. If kat starts posting super town stuff then I might think about shifting my vote.In post 309, rb wrote:

you are literally voting for someone who random duels people who haven't posted over someone who could potentially be actually useful
if you assume there's a lot of scum, say 8/28, and if you were town you'd remove yourself from the equation. so you'd have an 8/27 chance of hitting scum - 71% chance you hit town assuming we have a LOT of scum (almost 30% of players)
you're not that new buddy
