Thin_Man, AIM conversation in mind, would you have felt differently about my behavior toward you if you were on Primate? For the record, it was, uh, kind of obvious who you were.
Well, no, not really. And I never tried to hide who I was, but the points holds if I had been trying to do so.

I think telling people to stop acting friendly with each other is doomed to failure so there isn't any point in trying.

If it looks like I'm telling people to stop acting friendly to each other, then I have grossly misrepresented myself and should be lynched immediately.

Ok, maybe limiting the ways in which people are friendly to each other is more accurate.

Actually, no. Again, I suspected Shanba was the traitor at the time, and I'm pretty sure I knew my vote wasn't the hammer.
Setael wrote:@Ether: Interesting that you use the word "hierarchy". I chose the word "clique" but your choice of word reveals your mindset which is nice I guess. Thanks for the invite, but we peasants try to keep our place, and not disturb the upper classes in the AIM chatrooms.
Upper classes in the AIM chatroom? No, not really. Scumchat is dominated by people like Jathan. Most of the most-respected players only come into scumchat occassionally. There are exceptions, of course, but in general, you'll just become part of the "clique" over time. It comes with experience and familiarity. Even then, though, how well you're respected has little to do with how long you've been here, and more to do with how mature you are. Even how good you are as a player isn't all that important. Whining about cliques won't win you any respect.

Also. I didn't see my statements as whining, but I can see how they're being interpreted that way. Point taken. Point dropped.

Had some fun Ether-baiting, even if she didn't bite...

It's kinda annoying that I didn't have the time or ability to make my suspicions into logical arguments. Ho-hum

More activity in the day since the game ended than in any other single day while the game was playing. Uh... cool?

I disagree with whoever that it was unfair to make Sarcastro choose the right kill on the last night. If he can't spot his own traitor and decides to kill him, then that's his problem he has to deal with in end game.

Having seen the game play out, I agree the balance favoured the town overall. But the scum won. That's 4-3-1 for Scum-Town-SK in games I've modded now (Not all on MS, obviously). Just a little side note for me... It used to be 3-0-0. So the scum were due a win.
What are you pressing select for? You don't got time to make a profile!

It's not that I care that people who scumchat become friends, I just think when you make inside jokes and refer to each other's alts and real names in game when the other players won't understand (I see this happen with Simenon all the time) you are excluding other players. Besides the fact that it's lame, it can negatively affect a game.
Honestly nobody knows what I'm talking about.
