Thanks for the chance to speak Jag.

Ok, I'm leaning towards Totem being good and WW scum for the following reasons:

* Totem willingly revealed he was no longer a donut well in time to be investigated. The fact that he wasn't investigated, isn't his fault. I think it would be too easy for scum to just say he still had the trigger, and keep out of Jag's way altogether. He didn't. And I think he is genuine.

* And aside from a radical claim, I think Totem has been reasonably pro-townish throughout the game, if only a little to quiet maybe. The early claim seems pro-town, and he has been reasonably upfront for the most part.

* I buy Totems mention of 'gaining info once the trigger is replaced'. It seems like Tigris' style. He seems proud of his setup (rightly so) and seems to want to brag at every opportunity :P. So yeah, it seems like it is in the game, and if WW isn't getting this, it increases the chances ever so slightly that WW never did have all the triggers he claims.

* I don't buy your newest claim. I don't buy the fact that you have permanent night kill immunity as pro-town. That makes you too powerful a pro-town player. I think it much more likely scum would have that as it would be useful but not THAT valuable, which is the way the triggers seem to be so far. It just seems that the triggers thus far have been of limited use (for good reason) such as a dodgy investigative tool, or temporary protection, or something that while good, is definitely not worth hanging on to until the very end of the game.

* Finally, if somehow they are both innocent, then that means Jaguar is lying, and probably mafia/serial killer. Therefore we should keep our vig so we can kill Jag.

I doubt there is going to be enough to definitely convict either of them 2 beyond reasonable doubt, but luckily we just need to decide one way or another, and it seems we are all in agreement that WW is our best kill.

So, to avoid wasting time, I'll add that vote Jag was about to anyway...

Final vote count

willows weep (3): totem, yaw, shadyforce

not voting: willows weep jaguar

As the town congregates, they look to Jaguar for information.
My magic eight ball likes Shady and Yaw, so it must be either Totem or willows

All: Okay, and if one then the other and if neither Totem will kill Jaguar sealing up all possibilities.
But, I'm not evil, I used to have a stick and now have a big set of armor *clink, clink*

Alas, the town did not believe Willows and the lynch proceeded. An eigth tombstone appeared which read

Willows (undead possessing Uraj) (mostly) night kill immune, lynched day 4

It is night, please submit choices by Friday at 8 pm (preferably Thursday, but would rather give a bit of time).

EXTRA!! EXTRA !!
Read all about it, multi-millionaires Shadyforce, Tam, and Yaw sell another part of their town. Get even richer.

As Shady, Tam, and Yaw relax in their home surrounded by their gains from taking over the town, they reminesce about the twisted and tangled path that brought them to their desired goal. With the money gained from one of their sales, they were able to convince someone to resurrect Tam. Yaw still has his old bomb, ticking away in his room contently and Shady's brass knuckles have been placed on the mantle in full honors, while Tam's gun rests on a plaque on the wall.

Quietly thinking back to the final night, they think about how they hardly had to even lift a finger.

Jaguar runs home after the lynch of Willows to find her trusty demonic eight ball glowing menacingly. Quickly going up to it, she asks it breathlessly about Totem, to which it responds, 'Hmmm, it's strange, he can hurt people, but I don't like him, not at all.' As Jaguar ponders the meaning of this, she hears the door behind her open to see Totem standing there with a shotgun. He slowly raises it with a grimace and murmurs an apology before firing.

As Jaguar falls, the eight ball rolls over and taps Totem on the foot, with the message 'Look behind you.'

He does as it says, only to find Shadyforce cracking his knuckles with a grin, saying 'Now gimme yer lunchmoney, oops sorry flashback, shall we Yaw?'

Yaw's only response (besides the ticking of course), is a quick nod and Totem is overcome.

Gazing at their town, they wonder what to do next and then realize that all the property is theirs and thus worth a fortune. Their happy grins are only disturbed by yet another meteor striking in the unlucky town that now only has two inhabitants.

Clinking glasses a quiet whisper is heard, 'It's good to be evil.'

Jaguar (cop with a demonic eight ball) bird shot night 5
Totem (vig with bird shot (50% chance)) overwhelmed night 5

Yaw (hypnotized mafia member with kamikaze tendencies)-survived
Shadyforce (mafia member with brass knuckles (protective ability)-survived

Game Over- more details when I have time later on =^-^=, hopefully tonight

Gah. I was wondering about that. My demonic eightball really did like Yaw and Shady, but people he didn't like were scum. When I saw the result for Totem, I knew he was telling the truth.

Congrats scum. Who was the recruited scum? And why did my eightball only pick on Tam?

See, I even investigated all the right people... Shady night 2, Tam night 3 and Yaw night 4. Too bad my 8-ball wasn't completely reliable. Sorry town :(

Oh, and most importantly, thanks Tigris for a great game. I really enjoyed playing this one :)

Any chance of getting at least the triggered triggers and night choices? :)

Tam and I recruited Yaw on day 1. We had to both post a trigger word accompanied by the name of our target. Nobody spotted it ;).

Including me. They had to point it out. Also, this might be the worst I ever played. Jaguar did very well to investigate the right people -- I'm really not sure what that 8-ball was feeding you. I had to keep pushing the idea that there were only two scum and the assumption that both could be investigated in the hopes nobody would catch on.

Okay, so a really quick run-down of night choices. Sorry, 14 1/2 hour day and need to be up and moving in 6 1/2.

Night One

Totem turned into donut
Jaguar turned into truly random cop (hallucinates)
Nard turns into ineffective vigi (toy gun)
Mafia (Shady and Tam) choose to kill WW and Arrrgh! (player chosen) as their trigger (the single trigger in the game that was player chosen.

Night Two

Shady gains brass knuckles (doc ability)
Yaw turns evil
Tam gets godfather varient 1, self-protect.
Candice turns into neighborhood peeper (invstigative), investigates Bluesin finds out he is self-medicating, also gains ability to kill anyone she foses the next day.
Bluesin finds nurse it, uses it on himself.
Willow gains a big stick (vote counts for two, would have effected lynch number except Jaguar was asleep.
Jaguar gains a demonic eight ball and investigates Shady (response is related to his ability and alignment, i.e. brass knuckles and it likes him). She also gains one question from the mod related to triggers, asks about her old and new one prior to choosing and then chooses the new one.
Totem gains feathers (think bullet proof vest without the bullet proofness)
MeMe gains investigative ability to find out roles and potentially which subcategory they come from. Investigates Shady and finds him to have brass knuckles and a recently inflated bankaccount.
Otaku gets unmarked medicine, uses it on Jaguar. (protect, but knockout doc).
Mafia targets MeMe.

Night 3

Mafia targets Candice
Shady keeps his trigger
Yaw becomes kamikaze
Tam gains bullets (unstoppable kill) and gets to ask the mod a question.
Candice investigates Totem and chooses not to kill him.
Totem gains shotgun with birdshot
Jaguar investigates Tam, finds the eight ball really likes her, but since she doesn't have a physically violent trigger (prior to change, using the godfather self-protective), it is slightly different then the others, but the ball likes Tam more then the rest (influence of godmotherishness).
Otaku gets a chance to learn more about the medicine, chooses not to use it.
Willows gains a set of armor (invulnerable to most kills some exceptions: unstoppable kill 50%, vampire 75% protect, kitten 25% protect. And yes that was a teaser and yes there was a satanic flying kitten trigger in this game =^-^= *reads sluggy freelance*

Night 4

Shady and Yaw remain as they were, kill otaku
Otaku turns into kill crazed vigilante, tries to kill willows.
Willows plays vid games all night (no triggers)
Totem chooses not to change and not to shoot.
Jaguar investigates Yaw and finds the ball likes him, especially due to his ability to hurt people during the day.

Night 5
No triggers
Shady and Yaw kill Totem, shady decides against having Yaw self-destruct (will write up an ending for that as promised a bit later).
Totem shoots Jaguar (when I flipped the coin it was tails, so if targeting mafia fail, if town kill; heads would have been other way around)
Jaguar investigates Totem and gets response listed.

Okies, so 6 hours 12 minutes before I have to hop and get moving. Hope everyone has fun. The next time I have free is likely going to be late tomorrow night (10-12 hour day tomorrow), so hopefully I can list all the triggers at that time. =^-^= Glad people had fun =^-^=

This just made me more confused. I thought the 8-ball
didn't
like Tam?

And Shady could have chosen to have me self-destruct at the end of the game?!

For clarity's sake, I'll post the 3 pms.

A dark light surrounds the eight ball and the answer comes up as, . . . I like him, he beats people up.

O holy cow tell us what, . . . oops wrong thing, uhrm, magic 8 ball what do you think about Tam?
'Tam, why she's a fine upstanding citizen, the very best in this town. I can't think of a single person in this town I like better.'

As the magic 8-ball clouds over with evilness, it ponders and ponders some more. Finally it comes up with an answer. "Yaw is wonderful, he can hust people even during the day."

As for the second quesiton, yes. You still would have won, but shady would have been the only survivor. Hence the two possible endings. Of course, most people would likely choose not to, but it was meant as a treat to any that didn't. Additionally, it would have created a better alibi for the survivor, i.e. the two mafia are dead, I guess the town is mine, poor town.

Gah. I guess I should have focussed on the I like him/her part rather than the hurting part. The 8-ball didn't like Totem at all. I didn't realize it was a two part thing, I just thought it gave the wrong results, ie he/she hurts people is good, he or she doesn't hurt people - bad.

My apologies folks.

If it's any consolation, you confused us scum more than anyone else. I couldn't figure out how it was possible you were getting those results, especially after we lynched Tam, when Shady informed me at night that we didn't have a godfather! Shady was convinced you were a serial killer as soon as you came out with the two results.

That was really fun thankies
What is the point of using foul language, downright rudeness, slurs, etc on a gaming site? This is really distasteful.

First off, my apologies for not posting for a bit, I got slammed at work (so much so that today after working 9-8 I was wondering why I was getting home so early, meh =^-^= ) Okies, so the trigger words and categories.

General-

General:
spanish inquisition

recruit
-alien mafia (recruiting chance to turn evil determined by size)
-
unknown alignment
-cult (recruiting) (evil, but chance to turn good if all other evils are killed, 50% chance)
-
magically
- (recruits only if they can convince everyone else to say magically)-gains abilities as the number in mason group increases.
1-none
2-cop
3-doc
4-cop and doc (limited to no chance of occuring, imo)

one shot ability
vig
-one shot/hunting
doc
-bandaid
cop
-spyglass
guilty (shows up guilty to any investigators)
-peeping
innocent
-homebody
fos killer
-player who foses the most on the first day
ask mod a question
-player who hits the most triggers on the first two days
vote for the most people on the first day
-find out something about the person who votes the most the next day, excepting yourself, unless you wish to have info about your current trigger (MeMe activated this on night 2, but was killed)

Pro-town triggers
cop

-
nosy neighbor
-wonder
-
naive
-completely proven
-
demonic eight ball
-sanity
-
random
-cop
-
insane
-any derivation of froth
doc

hider
-scared
commuter
-leave (although I think I changed this one to train =|
masons
-identical posts (or very close to this)
donut
-donut (sorry again Totem, kinda, although I was wondering what type ye were =^-^=, mind's wandering a lot right now)
townie (player is changed into a miniture model of the town)
-just a townie
animal
-furry/fuzzy, must include something animal related in posts
plant
-tree/leafy- must wait at least 3 posts before posting again
veteranarian(50% effective on humans, 100% on others)
-healing
bullet proof vest/armor-unkillable

feather vest
-Lol etc. (net speak)
role blocker
-stonewall

Mafia triggers

godfather

-
night kill immune
-protective
-
night investigation immune
-investigate
-
both
-walk away
traitor
-betrayal
turns townie
I think the town should win this game (if someone wasn't lynched after saying that I don't know what it would take =^-^=)
point blank
-unstoppable kill (mostly)
offer can't refuse
-choose method of killing
cop
-curiosity
doc/bodyguard
-protect
one time unstoppable kill
undeniable
vote taker
-politician
turns into a bunny (innocent to all investigations, but town is informed of change to a bunny)
-hop/hopping
alien (10%+10% per night of remaining an alien of leaving the game)
-stars
role taker
-fire and dancer in same post
guilty to all investigations, and demonic eight ball is scared of player
-excessively scummy
differing methods of kills (turn from human caused to other sources)
variety
attractive
-role blocker
hypnotize townie to your side
-predetermined word chosen by the mafia, must not be 'normal' and must be followed by target's name. Only works on townies 100% on others each night there is a roll of a die
1-4 remains mafia
5 loses any abilities they might have and no night kill
6 turns traitor with the ability to alter one mafia kill (subsequent nights another die is rolled and if it is above 4, then the traitor dies from an aneurysm).
-side note, if still alive with 5 or fewer people remaining going into night, if there is a surviving mafia member they can 'enhance' their abilities, but by taking control. This is what would have allowed Shady to blow Yaw up, it also would have allowed for 2 investigations if Yaw was a cop, etc.
--side note two-if the beginning two mafia members die, there is a die rolled each night, if it is under 3, then the hypnosis wears off and the townie turned mafia turns townie, this can end in a game ending after a deathless night.

Combination triggers
I installed these for the improbable scenarios, plus they were fun to think up and I wanted a way to possibly work serial killers in.
satanic kitten
-(forced change)calling the mod a putty tat or any reference along those lines or (choice given) making numerous cat references/noises
role details: Serial killer, immune to most investigations as it is too cute to be thought of as evil, noted exception the demonic eight ball as it will feel kin to the kitten. Resistant to most night kill methods and needs to be lynched twice to die. (All of these are to counter the major detriment) Flaw: If given milk by the caretaker, no kill occurs.

I had thought about adding a finding of mittens trigger; however, that deviated too much from mafia imo.

-subcategory
caretaker of the Evil
(this is given to a player with the stamp of Microsoft on the forehead (not revealed to other players)-chooses one person each night to give milk to in an effort to stop the kitten. The role transfers to another if the caretaker is slain, but if it and the kitten are the only two left, the kitten will kill the caretaker. This role is in addition to any other roles.
--subcategory two interaction with vegan/carnivore-if the caretaker gives milk to either of these two there is a change (prior to this neither role has any game effect). The vegan vows vengence and tries to kill the caretaker (in effect a serial killer who remains on the side of the town, but with a sub-goal of killing the caretaker who gave him/her milk (and yes I have accidently irritated vegans before ;_;) and keep in mind that either of these can be a mafia member). If given to the carnivore, they sleep the entire night that night and whatever ability they might gain the follow night can be used twice/is more effective.

Vampire
-blood and night in the same post
-given a choice of whether to kill or not. If said person kills, they become anti-town, they are made aware of this prior to choosing if they wish to kill or not.
-role triggered-
vampire hunter
this role is triggered as soon as someone accepts the vampire role, whether they kill or not. They are given the ability to kill, but use garlic and various other instruments, so will not kill a non-vampire. However, should they kill the vampire prior to it killing, they become anti-town as they have killed an innocent. They will be made aware of this and also be made aware if the vampire kills (although the dawn scene should spell it out).

Okay, so I think that's it. There might be one or two others, but I think I looked at all my sheets. Thanks again =^-^=, ye made my swansong really enjoyable. Best of wishes and luck in future mafia games.
