@drdrew, your scum read on cyrus is primarily due to a meta read or am i missing something?

Cyrus, and Roster to an extent, have brought up meta from a previous game all three of us have played. But my read on Cyrus is purely on his in game actions. In post 326, Karnage wrote:@drdrew, your scum read on cyrus is primarily due to a meta read or am i missing something?
Some points about Cyrus' meta that Roster keeps bringing up is the one little thing giving me pause about Cyrus being scum, but he is playing much different from when I last played with him(so, I guess meta does have a little to do with it).
keep in mind that game was 2 months ago so i have improved .In post 329, Doctor Drew wrote:Cyrus, and Roster to an extent, have brought up meta from a previous game all three of us have played. You basically just summarized my case with that sentence. In post 330, cyrus62 wrote:keep in mind that game was 2 months ago so i have improved .In post 329, Doctor Drew wrote:Cyrus, and Roster to an extent, have brought up meta from a previous game all three of us have played. But, what do you think of the scum reads on LUV and Menalque?

How about you answer my question first young man. Not very quake to use that sort of tone with me either. In post 319, Lil Uzi Vert wrote:No your vote is bull.In post 317, Gamma Emerald wrote:Pahahahaha! Alright then, what's so scummy about Jackal's one post?
There’s no reason for me as scum to draw attention to myself there by voting Jackal. I wasn’t on a single persons radar so I could’ve happily just continued to lurk and sit on the Baezu wagon. I could have also just joined one of the more of the popular growing wagons in Mena.

...Ok.
I feel like I’m always going to instinctively read Cyrus as scum but the hypocrisy is somewhat astounding.

Mastina was meaning that she is always going to townread these 3 players, regardless of our alignment. In post 336, Menalque wrote:Why would town!you ever sort three players into always town this early on D1?In post 292, mastina wrote:There are three players who are, regardless of their alignment, always going to be town
The first step to fixing a problem is to acknowledge it.

Also, he knows me well enough to know that I am the ultimate self-metaer...by which, I mean, he knows me well enough to know that I am the ultimate trash.
Or he’s doing it to undermine me but doesn’t wanna do that to his scumbuddy

VOTE: Menalque
calls out LUV as scum in 285 which in itself is fine but waits until 337 to actually vote. this is AFTER Fonz and Gamma voted LUV. Had plenty of opportunity to discuss/vote LUV in 288+314+336 but makes zero mention of him.
Feel like this is scum trying to look townie but not willing to stick his neck out and start an actual wagon. Instead, he points out something scummy, lets others make the case/vote, then joins the wagon. The "Also if I didn’t do it already" looks like he's trying to make his vote retroactive, like it should have already been in place.

Mastina isn’t town.In post 344, Menalque wrote:But where is the town motivation in lock!towning those three players for the entire game
Like I’ll lock!town people until lylo but not for the entire gsme
I also don’t think she’s really lock-towning us. It’s more that she doesn’t really think she can sort us through normal means (I mean, she’s probably wrong about that, but w/e).

I’m coming from this point of view.In post 241, mastina wrote:Precisely. In post 214, rosterfoster wrote:They involve a lot of fuckery.
Incidentally Mastina hasn't sworn yet IIRC. I think swearing is one of her town tells.
But she's claimed 3P so...
As third parties, I'm never quite in my town meta in spite of explicitly always aiming to townside. I try, but because I am not actually town in spite of legitimate trying to help the town, it shows.
Mind you, I never am in my scum meta as a third party, either, tho people misidentifying my 3p play as my scumplay is quite common.
What do you think about the whole Drew/Cyrus thing?
