Will be posting my case on GL after more people have expressed their thoughts. For now, I'll summarise why Titus is town aligned, and why the D2 push on her was scum aligned.
-
Titus D1 interaction was null
to me; no strong indications of alignment (outside of the hammer, which I will discuss my thoughts upon).
-
Titus D2 interaction is also null
; I see nothing that is both outside of her towngame and scumgame. My ability to meta read players is next to non existant, but her tone, atleast to me, does not incline in either alignment.
- Now, for the D1 hammer, the only other interaction she had in this game. I see her motives (including the hammer) as much more possible town than scum aligned (if someone disagrees, do feel free to express why, outside of mechanical or mod post reasons). As I've said, I would have done the same in her position; BS was anti town throughout D1, and a soft-claim from him would be much more likely from a final scum attempt at trading a town PR than otherwise. Titus' hammer was town motivated, but the result favored scum, not for the fault or alignment of Titus, but for BS's antitown/lynchbait playstyle.
The follow up against Titus on D2 (mainly lead by GL) was anything but scum aligned, with GL appealing to mechanism (of which he expressed negatively the day prior), false info (yes, there are circumstances where hammering as Titus did is town aligned and results in town favored outcomes), and authority, not remotely anything based on accurate evidence or town aligned agenda (lynching scum).
tl;dr Titus is town, even if the results of her actions were beneficial to scum. The outcome is the fault of BS's playstyle, not Titus' actions.
