Raw readslist first then I will discuss the nonmechanical slots 1 by 1 maybe like three per post.
popsofctown - Mason
Klick
Miss Lynch
Sujimichi
Auro
Cat Scratch Fever
Chemist (counterclaimed me as a 5th mason)
TSE (counterclaimed me as a 5th mason)"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

Klick - Klick throughout the game has done little bits of interaction that seemed kind of towny with a tiny cute curled y but for much of the game the low quantities of those posts made me feel like it was good faking, and there is only a low quantity of it he can fake. Increasing his output a lot (apparently because his inlaws left, so not because we must have scum up against the wall) refutes the only reservation I had.
ML of all slots is like actively dumb to wagon right now? Which makes for a fat grouping of question marks I want to bin as town.
Miss Lynch - ML's frequent calls for re-evaluation today seem genuinely interested in getting the correct solve. She seems to try to cause interactions that would be illuminating. Her pages of fist fighting with TSE were potential times we should have seen something scummy.
Auro townreading this slot for reasons that don't make me sense makes me want to consider Auro/ML solves a lot though.
Sujimichi - Sujimichi's case on CSF is one I agree with, and it has been pretty solvey. Auro's reasons in his case are persuasive about Sujimichi, though, counterweighing that.
I'm a little concerned with how easily Sujimichi has slipped into a defensive posture, though. She's said that it's MyLo and that she has the same survival motive scum does in this situation, but I don't think that factoid accurately reflects everything, scum need 1 more mislynch if they've identified the mason, town needs three correct lynches back to back to back. That contrast would put defense on the backburner a bit more, I think.
Auro - I am pretty interested in the idea of learning Auro's alignment by watching him lynch scum, like he says, but, I've talked about this slot a lot, I feel like the scum!Auro universes are a lot of the universes. town!Auro is some of them. I feel like my original reasons for scumreading him were flatly called bad by the one slot very incentivized to reach that verdict then buried in lots of things that have happened since (including Auro's high post-rate). But still I think it's not nothing that my teammates didn't see enough in my piece to carry the torch the next mile on this, which is a reason to be less confident.
Cat Scratch Fever- Sujimichi talked about her a lot. Her iso is also very IioA if you look at it. She asks little clarifying questions that don't matter and demonstrate too much thread presence to not warrant some real interactions. I will repeat lest people forget that I think the vigshot timing was incriminating for her.
In the situations where she is town she is probably not able to show it due to hyperposting in the thread which is sad. But with townreads elsewhere I feel this is just a really straightforward scumslot that no one has ever defended in a way that's compelling"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

Correct. And, if I am the lynch for today they have achieved it their one "mislynch." Why would my defense of myself be pushed to the backburner? In post 1526, popsofctown wrote:...scum need 1 more mislynch if they've identified the mason, town needs three correct lynches back to back to back. Let me put it another way.
To win the game, town!you has to find the entire scumteam (so do I excepting my perspective is a bit more perspective about accurate vigshots so maybe not.)
If you find the entire scumteam and convince everyone of it, you've successfully defended your slot because the team has no more room.
Scum!you has to identify one player to be lynched, and you could even be lynched right after.
One thing I was kind of expecting from you unprompted today was a coherent townbloc proposal, even if it's only two or three cards at this point, and I don't remember seeing that type of thought."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

I've outlined who I believe the Mafia team is and my rationale as to each. It would stand to reason that the remainder of the players are those that I Townread. I've also stated that I believe that Cat Scratch Fever is my preferred lynch for today and outlined my reasons why. However, I came into Saturday and today (meaning Monday, not this phase) not completely caught up to a completely different state of game than when I was last present, and with four people willing to vote me (and Auro having voted me despite my request to allow me a chance to catch up, though he did unvote later). Yes, I provided a defense for myself as it is necessary given that Mafia only needs to convince two Town members to vote for me to win. However, it is not the only thing that I have done.In post 1529, popsofctown wrote:Let me put it another way.

Proposing Auro/CSF/Klick doesn't seem to make much sense if scum!her believes I won't change my mind and TSE won't.- popsofctown

Which reasons specifically? I'm cool if you disagree that the nuance in her read of me after I claimed to have high energy as scum is a towntell, but you can't see why I'd believe that's a legitimate point? In post 1526, popsofctown wrote:Auro townreading this slot for reasons that don't make me sense- popsofctown

No indeed I was sympathetic towards that. It was something closer to daystart, I'd have to dredge it up.In post 1534, Auro wrote:

I can tell you. It was for her slips and the catch up where she was scumreading Cheeky - I said I find it difficult to believe she'd be faking that as scum. I also said something about her having portrayed a lot of conviction before in thread, so if scum I'd expect her to carry that right now and she didn't.
Either of these points?- Auro

Pops, how is TSE's counterclaim scummier than Chemist's? You do agree only one of them can be scum, btw, right?- Auro

Both of them.
The townslip is overstated since scum!ML can be making a decision to bus during catchup. Townslip scavenger hunt seems like a convenient way to approach a partner slot in general."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

TSE and Chemist are both confirmed to be scum because I was the last mason.
I would prefer to lynch their partner this dayphase and move forward from there thank you"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? I don't disagree on lynching their partner, it's just that the positioning of their slots in your list seems odd.- Auro

That wasn't the only thing though? And if we're SvS ML would have had to fake her outburst D1 as well knowing I was a partner...In post 1539, popsofctown wrote:Townslip scavenger hunt seems like a convenient way to approach a partner slot in general.- Miss Lane

I will catch up on Suji v Auro more at a later date when I have time.
I don't remember exactly what was happening. I know there were several points where I wasn't fully informed. I think there I tried to post the post above it, got stopped by a PEdit, went and checked the setup, and came back and posted both sequentially. I can't say for absolute certain, though. I don't really remember all that well TBCH.In post 1496, Klick wrote:
Is this what happened? In post 1483, Miss Lane wrote:If it took me 31 seconds to realize something, that's because that's how long it took me to open a new tab, skim the setup specs until I found what I was looking for, figure out what was going on, and post that I realized my mistake.
The charitable town!ML version of this that was running through my head involved you not doing any of that and just making assumptions based on Auro's 1003:
Your 1006 looks like a response to that:In post 1003, Auro wrote:You didn't read the setup properly
I'm skeptical of your explanation - it feels angleshooty but I don't think that happens in 31 secondsIn post 1006, Miss Lane wrote:Oh. Got it.
I don't know, I'd love to hear other thoughts on this.
This is correct. I believe we likely played together on my EE account, as well as possibly Tr1ckster. I did play Survivor once and did reasonably well and made a few friends. In post 1497, Klick wrote:Thanks for this, I appreciate it. We can chat more about it postgame if you want.
I thiiink I played a few games with you as EE ages ago (and possibly whatever account you had before EE if I'm remembering that correctly)? And you might have played a Survivor once? That's where most of my site activity is. I wasn't in the game you mentioned.
I have enough interaction with CheekyTeeky to understand she is like myself enough to shoot herself in a setup where that has even the slightest chance of being advantageous. If you need examples of where I've done things like this, my self-vote leading into a push for self-lynch was a major factor in winning BoP 2, it was another gambit I carried out early in Prey, I carried out multiple gambits as EE across multiple games, and Stellaris mafia I also did something somewhat similar. In post 1505, popsofctown wrote:Site rule 2 hasn't been interpreted to relate to the classic "X is active elsewhere on site". You could mount an argument that if the posts elsewhere on site are in mafia games (which for Sujimichi I'm almost certain they are) then you're discussing an ongoing game and discussing something specific about that ongoing game, though, (were you able to say "X is active on site" on Tuesday? How about Wednesday?) and running around using it to catch "freshman Creature" types isn't the most beautiful way to be playing the game which is why some players decline opportunities to bring it up. The thing is, if the player isn't a "freshman Creature" type of player, it generally backfires/isn't accurate. If the player is, it probably lets you figure out the difference between a quiet scum roll vs. a town player who was busy, but hey, we just said this player is freshman Creature, cmon, can't we make you feel bad for needing any kind of crutch at all?
__________________________________________________________________________________
Klick's scumcase on ML was this long wall from a slot that's been blips and bleeps and I feel more convinced that Klick is town than I do that ML is certain scum. One thing to point out: how much have you played with CheekyTeeky? Because, like, usually it's beyond absurd to think a player would shoot themselves. But like.. it's CheekyTeeky. She could do anything. I assumed maybe ML has some familiarity with CT that made it seem less impossible.
I very much appreciate that.In post 1506, popsofctown wrote:I share Sujimichi's scumread of CSF as I've mentioned before. I think I owe ML something closer to a reads list than a post by post casing next in this game tho
Yes. Thank you. Unfortunately I am on the run and somewhat busy today but I will 100% get back to this soon~ish. In post 1527, popsofctown wrote:is this what you wanted Miss Lynch?ftr ML has played pretty well and deserves a win if they get it. - pisskop
Welp, we lost. I actually believed ML's claim. ... And seriously. We knew ML was a vote manipulator and still thought she was telling the truth. ... Well, looks like town is going to let the sk's win. That was kind of a genius play by ML. ... ML deserves this win. That was a good play on her part. - Rautherdir- Auro
