This is the newbie queue. SEs are experienced players. There are some things that I cannot lie about as an SE. These are site meta, how to play, how to use the site etc.In post 488, Non lmh wrote:never played with titus so idk if the se thing is town indicative

If I failed to explain something please let me know. Also, I do believe in my skim you felt I was "mean". That's not a function of being an SE. In fact that's not good you feel that way.ShowThe scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

Do consider the SE hat more town-indicative, but since then she's changed her tone.In post 488, Non lmh wrote:never played with titus so idk if the se thing is town indicative

Titus, don't misunderstand what I'm about to say. I want to believe you're town, but I don't like how you shut down my theory and flat-out refused to case Cheeky when I asked you to. Which should be the bare minimum if you want to push a counterwagon in opposition of a wagon you staunchly disliked. You proceeded to call my and LL's push on Phoenix as "poor townplay," then voted for Phoenix's wagon instead of convincing players to vote for your preferred Cheeky wagon.
I admit that I'm a player not quite at the standard I'd like to be, but I'm trying to improve. If you're town, all I ask is that you help me see where you're at.- Homura

Don't think scum!Karnage says this, but he's mentally left the game either way if his lack of response to requests for reads indicates anything. In post 460, Karnage wrote:If I need to be the lynch I'm ok with that in order to avoid a no lynch

This is a fair request for an explanation. In post 492, Homura wrote:Titus, don't misunderstand what I'm about to say. First, I don't really do "cases" when there's flat out not enough evidence to case. My Cheeky and Karnage reads were tonal at first. If there was something more to case, I would have. I just don't believe in upselling what isn't there.
I had been trying to convince players to vote Cheeky all day. I changed to Phoenix solely because we needed a lynch at deadline. No lynch is just flat out terrible. A no lynch should not happen in the newbie queue barring conftown claiming and no time to change wagons.
I have been playing long enough to know my reads get better with time and data to support them. Right now, I have three scumreads but only two possible scum (Cheeky, Karnage, TSE).
I want to see what Cheeky's sub does.ShowThe scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

Do not expect my reads to be better or more accurate because I am an IC. I prefer to keep my hands off D1 and asses what happened and why. Early game is my weakest point. In post 493, Homura wrote:I know my theory is poorly-constructed. But it's all I've got, because if I'm honest with you, I haven't had a clue how to approach this game. That's why I'm asking you to case your reads, because you're more experienced than the rest of us and feel you'd be really helpful if you wanted to be.
Day 1 is less about being right but observing the motivations of people imo. To me, if I get the best out of town, we win, even if my reads aren't so hot.ShowThe scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

Gut.
He's come in with the "two votes on me" thing without feeling necessarily obliged to act on it or do anything to alter the situation & this as an analytical post feels sincere and doesn't feel overstated.
Often newbie scum feel a pang of anxiety at being lolwagoned at the start of their first game. Often experienced scum playing in a new environment feel compelled to flex and show their stuff and overdisplay their {analytical, manipulative} prowess
This guy is posting pretty fast and doesn't seem all that phased
