I can't speak for the others, Alisae, but you being self-aware of your own town/scum effort meta means that applying that template is useless here.

It's not entirely useless. Playing in a way that is more likely to get you wagoned is towny, even if you are aware of that, because if you're scum and you act weird and get wagoned people might just not buy the meta argument and kill you.

This incidentally is why I think April is townier. As scum he tries not to burn bridges too early and as town he'll just show up at the Golden Gate with a can of gasoline and a matchbook.

That may explain some of my animus. That's MY bridge and I'm rather fond of it.

You and Mariaboy have probably dropped a bit? It seems like both of your slots have gotten quieter as more attention has been turned on you which is definitely > rand scum. The beeboy Ellitell also might be a thing.

re: why i thought alisae is scum; i really don't like any of the questions/opinions alisae was asking/giving while catching up and this is one of the things i actually wanna look into from a meta point of view. the null hypothesis is basically: "alisae as scum asks pointless questions and makes comments that are basically keeping up appearances; alisae as town asks meaningful questions that helps discern people's alignments" - need to look at more games to establish a pattern though and haven't had time yet

actually i was planning to just strip the questions/comments you make in games, chuck them in spoiler walls, and have people try to guess which alignment you were in each game. then ask them to tell me which one this game looks more like afterwards. but uh... that's effort i prob can't put in until at least tomorrow

(to be clear, this isn't a meta read at all, i just think the things alisae chose to comment on were uh... lacklustre, to put it lightly. and i think a lot of the reasoning for reads and flips on those reads has been pretty meh. wanna put some more thought into this when i have time.)

This is what worries me.

You posted that you had suspicions of us (mostly me, I think) with respect to my post about not reading role PM flavor and my interactions with zmuffin. You never engaged us about them or whatever else concerned you. You went after April during one of his attacks on us over his claim about becoming confirmed town. You said you could talk about s_s, but never did. This is a wild amount of not-engagement given your squinty eyes.

a lot of that is how much time I want to be spending on this game vs how much I actually am. I've been meaning to iso you and muffin for days now but the task only becomes more and more daunting as the posts rack up. April's push against you frustrated me in part because I felt it was mistimed and unfounded compared to what I was hoping to bring. even if I had been continuing to develop my suspicions of you up til now, today wouldn't be the time to press you further if I want to do so fruitfully. as for s_s, I started doing something up yesterday and then realized I may be wrong with my read there, so that will need some more attention as well. at the risk of making more empty promises, I am hoping to get some more substantive content out today and to recentre myself in this game.
