This literally only leaves Morph, Zmuffin, 420, and Remelia.

I'm not really here to talk (sorry not a ton of time). I get like, that you've come to this solve largely from PoE and I just wanted to see if the discrediting thing from muffin is particularly AI for you. It's helpful to know that you agree it's not, even if I am still left a bit confused because so much of your recent ISO is just talking about discrediting, discrediting.

To answer your question, I think your PoE is... reasonable. I definitely TR Bell and I mostly TR bear (with a tad of paranoia maybe but not much). NS is still very sold on Bork TR (I think) and I TR there mostly too. I'm like, also slightly paranoid of you being a mafia neighborizer, but assuming you're town that's where I'm at. I'll have to look at the Morph stuff later, I just never really considered that slot as scum like at all. I don't think I'm going to in the near future but I'll still review your argument.

For me personally, Zmuffin discrediting me, especially Day 2, is what is called Hatcheting. It’s when a townie is targeted scum, and a partner of scum start discrediting the townie while specifically not pushing them as scum.

I have caught a lot of players due to the same thing.

However, if you need more than the discredit, I feel that Zmuffin has also been actively avoiding voting, which is why Zmuffin’s reads are the most on the fence than anyone.

They also specifically were defending Plus on multiple occasions, and ended up voting Plus at the end of the day. That’s the only vote count in my VCA that they are on the board, and it happened after Morph went back to Plus.

Now also, Zmuffin called out frankensteining which was them making fun of when I told Plus they were warlocking, which is confirmed to have happened because Plus was pocketing me. The fact Plus flipped red, they were trying to tie me to Plus, which means scum is on the opposite side of that as well, Morph and Zmuffin. If 2 scum was outside of this pair, they’d be able to gain momentum against me.

Zmuffin also brought up 1-shot roleblock and 1-shot strongman setup spec throughout the game. Plus flipped 1-shot Rolecop. My guess is scum has each of those roles, which is why I believe Zmuffin tried to No Fade, so they could strongman shot me through 420 protection.

I think I was roleblocked by one of them, and then they want the no fade to get me out of here.

While I think both Morph and Zmuffin would discredit me as town, I don’t believe it would be to this extent. I feel they got stuck in the situation, and i legit think they are genuinely upset, I just think it’s because I caught them out as scum.

And like I said, I can see me being wrong on 1, not both, so sure, Zmuffin could be town.

Id rather fade Morph today, and then target Zmuffin tonight.

@ST - Honestly, it’s kind of rough. Because if I am wrong, I do think you fill that slot, which is why I think I’m just correct.

I just really think both 420 and Maid are town because Plus was trying to push momentum over to them multiple times.

At the very least, it makes sense to wait since they can be confirmed.

I know that. It just makes me more hesitant because you might make excuses and stuff for why you haven't "bombed" anyone. With an IC, there is no doubt.

my opinion is that if maid is town, we leave them alone and say they have to pick a target tonight. If they are alive day 2, we make them tell us their target. If their target is dead or highly townread by everyone or maid makes another excuse why they can't explode them, we kill maid. Otherwise, we decide based on the target if we want them to explode or wait. I don't wanna drag this out forever.

Does anyone here actively have any of those three slots in their top tier town reads?

Can we just get data on all three, see which flips red, and then let april go to their cork boards of red string and newspaper clippings?

so I'd think whoever silenced maid was probably maf; if I was a town silencer I'd never use it

assuming maf has a silencer, which since maid didn't mention they get silenced from their ability which I'd think of as an important detail, I can think of a few possibilities

silencer may prevent the bomb from going off if the bomb claim is real and they need to post in the main thread that they are choosing to explode. so ST or remi was afriad of being targeted as maf and so they silenced the bomber
or
maid isn't bomber or is maf bomber and their maf buddy is silencing them as an alibi
is there another possibility im missing? That's all i can think of

Secret/Remi are the confident 2 for me for scum. The rest are toss up

the fact that maid got silenced and posted this last makes me think there is an extemely high chance of a scum being within maid, ST, or remi. If none of those were scum, I'd think scum would not of silenced maid since getting a town vig to blow themselves up and take out another townie would be a huge win. I'm not sure if the silence effect would prevent them from exploding with another target though.

there is a small chance that it was some PR's effect that silenced or that this is part of the kamikaze vig effect but I think that is very unlikely

I wish maid would have elaborated on their scumreads on ST/remi.
A possible strat is that maid is scum and both ST/remi are town, another scum silenced scum!maid after they hastily said some random reads with the suicide bomber claim and planned on silencing them to get a few mislims.
Either way I look at it one of maid/st/remi has to be scum unless im getting played or totally off base.

These are Plus quotes, Plus started to town read Maid after they claimed the bomb, which i feel was because they didn’t want to get blown up.

Also, Plus constantly tried getting pressure onto 420, and I think 420’s role makes sense in this setup.

Also, if 420 is scum, it’s not like they coast out for the victory this game, same with Maid.

Later, Plus starts to call Maid scum when they aren’t here to post, even adding Remelia and ST to the lists.

i think if that was the trigger they would of mentioned it, that'd be a pretty important detail to leave out and if they didn't know that's how their role worked that's a textbook bastard mechanic and would be against site rules

theoretically if they were gonna use the bomb and that was the trigger, they're not exactly in a rush to use it, probably? literally dont have to post all day so it's not like they need to do it immediately lol
