I don't agree with other reads on you either, and I'm not in sync with reads with Imperium at all this game. Just because they're conf town, doesn't mean their reads are correct. They can be correct, and that is taken into consideration. If I feel they're more likely to be correct than myself, I will look into it more.

my big issue with that guess is i don't ever see a team with nora/deacon ever choosing them to be the 2 side of a 4/2. those are players who are going to want a support system in place. those 2 would not be a pair confident they can carry a thread for a few days and avoid ICing half the town

i think it's valid to speculate a little on whether a particular scumteam would choose to orient itself in a particular configuration. some of the names i don't agree with either but it works to have a "does this make sense" gutcheck on a theory. also too tired to directly quibble with reads if that's what you were wanting to see

At this point in Illicit, I had fewer posts than I do now. Skimming my ISO there, I feel like my fluff:content ratio was about the same. I'm pretty sure I've shared more reads here than I had by this point there.

up until 1490 or so I didn't feel like you really engaged with any analysis on slots (there is a little bit looking back, w/ skitter in particular); there are some interactions on slots and some analysis of mechanics, and some reads later on but I am finding it hard to figure out how you got to where you are; what reads you ultimately ended up on at this point in the game for me isn't my primary concern in figuring out if you're scum or not.

and you're right, i don't know what I'd have thought of you in illicit as town, but i first reaction here was that you were a little effete opening up the game.

I clicked that post link and I feel like I should respond to Titus’ thoughts on me.
First, I don’t really do as much activity-wise for hydra/alt games as I do for games I play on main. Sometimes I end up just lurking out because of disengagement, but even when I stay motivated to play I feel like I consistently trend lower on the activity scale in hydra games.
Second, this game has erupted with posts despite in essence being a 13p mini. You have to understand that will be off-putting for ANYONE not surfing that wave of activity. You also have only recently seen me deal with something like this in mbos 10 where I was scum, but you haven’t seen numerous town games where I’ve had to deal with this, one of which being Xenoblade 2 mafia.
So I think your limited experience with me recently is coloring your meta thoughts on me and making you default think I’m scum. But if you look at what I’m doing you’ll notice I’m nowhere near as desperate to claw my way into a good position as I was that game. I’m taking potshots at superb, but it’s not like I’m hounding him down like I did Morning Mage in mbos 10.

Gamma's reaction to coming back to being run up gives me those feels. though I feel like town-him would be a little bit more cautions about Noraa given the zeno game. I told bork he reminds me of the Island of Misfit Toys cameraderie.

bork doesn't have a confident handle on those interactions, though.

I’m aware my feeling here and feeling there are a bit mirrored, I realized that after thinking on 2388 and remembering I said the same thing in the other game too. And that’s because I do feel a little like things are happening similarly.
But I also think that there the way Noraa is handling her hydra partner’s absence might be a solid townpoint. My personal inclination when dealing with such a thing is to get upset, because that can be a game-killer if things go wrong, I have experience with it from a while back. But she just seems to be going with the flow on it. I’ll add more on this topic if/when I feel like it but that’s the big thing that makes me go “okay Noraa is town”.

Also, here is a big thing to consider on my end. In that Xenoblade 2 game I made an ass of myself which got me wagoned. Here I had 15 posts, none of which were really sticking out in any way imo. So the fact I got put into a similar position despite different circumstances suggests foul play imo.

i have seen other games where half the town was crying and screaming begging for gamma to stop doing his stupid catchup and he absolutely refused, so im put off by him doing so now and i cant help but wonder if there is something to sb's point about the timing of gamma's return. their claim is uninteresting.

Y’all were barreling towards me with me completely unaware of the actual peril I was in, so if I DON’T pop in you guys just fucking mistreat me and probably continue at a ridiculously fast pace. We have regular deadlines for fuck sake this isn’t a blitz game!!! As for the catch up stuff, maybe it’s the fact that this is the third straight game I’ve played with cabd and co. that has become a spam fest, and I’m tired of trying to fucking read these long ass games. I busted my ASS to read Smoke Filled Antechamber and I recall catching shit for not finishing when I actually did. And when I tried to attack the source in Xenoblade 2 I was basically told to go to hell. And now I’m gettin shitpushed with <20 posts and y’all are angling to end D1 in <72 hours? Let’s also fucking note Cabd doesn’t seem to be doing his shit where he monitors the thread length. Idk there’s something fucked up here and I’m tired of being a cog in the machine.

If Annie is town, they are hands down one of the worst players ever and I, to put it harshly, absolutely DESPISE players like this.
They think they're hot shit when they can't even read a newbie right/figure out how to read me without absolutely breaking them. Im taking out my DAMN noob card for this cuz I'm pissed.
I don't care what world you're from but in what fucking game does it ever seem like a good idea to tunnel a newbie straight off the bat?
Like you should know better than to do that considering every single game where I fucked up bad was SOLELY bc someone tunneled me for no reason.

I have been so mad lately cuz of all my mislims and I don't care how much AtE I am throwing at this game in one singular post but I die day 1/2 far too often and yet NO ONE tries to understand my perspective. To tell the truth, NO I never truly SRed Notsci. But I am fed up with how I am treated in games and being nice and mellow has done absolutely NOTHING for me. I just get tunneled over and over and then mislimmed again and again. I'm trying to learn but this type of shit treatment of me is just breaking me and I can't pick myself back up.

Its to a point where I can't find the motivation to stay alive in any game on site and I just wanna self hammer the moment the opportunity comes and immediately scum claim and vote myself regardless of my actual alignment.

Nowadays either my hydra buddy has to slap me every day to keep me focused or someone has gotta WK me hard for me to even have the motivation to stay alive in a stupid ass game.

Notsci, I want to tell you that I am extremely upset with your play and think it has made my time in this game absolutely miserable and regardless of your alignment I hope you think twice before you decide to break someone like this again.

I try so hard to be nice and cutesy and Noraa and what I get is just a shit load of people calling me confscum.

But the thing is, I started thinking about all the games I’ve been in with this bunch of people that have exploded in post count, and it becomes hard to reconcile any sort of good will towards that when I realize that this sort of high posting epidemic was a part of why I left the site last year, since probably the game that hit me the hardest on the “playing these game is becoming a burden vs. a pastime” realization was the first anon dance, where I kept trying to catch up but never could, partly because of the aforementioned issue with alt/hydra game activity.
The reason I don’t do those “obnoxious” catch ups is they’re not appealing to me and obviously no one else fucking cares for them so like, why try? And I’ve also had a lot of games where I got off without having to read the whole thing, for fuck’s sake I GOT N1ED IN A GAME I BARRLY READ. But that doesn’t mean I’m okay with the long-ass games. I’m not entirely innocent sometimes about posting a lot but I don’t turn games into longer ordeals than I think they should be. But it seems because the best way to win games is to scream at people until they kneel down at your feet in crumpled heaps, that’s like, the only way to play now. I swear this wasn’t the way the game was played when I started out here.

The bottom line is, I’m trying to justify my presence in this game and I’m drawing dead rn. I don’t think I fit in, not because you explicitly don’t want me, but because I don’t function well with your methods, and it seems you won’t change them.
